In need of some modernisation

Arrived 2am checked in and allocated a room. The room , sheets and pillowcases stunk. I wanted out straight away No sleep the first night, then my son showed me his room, The same but worse. Holes in doors and walls, electric socket hanging of the wall, shower door opening just 30cm. Spoke with the very nice manager and requested a transfer to another hotel. I explained my feelings. Lights flashing in lifts, windows, mirrors and stainless steel surfaces disgusting, rooms disappointing, green mold in the pool. The evening bar like something from a holiday camp. Inappropriate behaviour from other guests in the bar area. Unfortunately sold to us as a five star hotel. No way

Very nice hotel

This is my second visit to Sherwood hotel. Our first visit in 2022 was perfect. Rooms were.clean and staff were friendly and did everything to make your stay comfortable. We booked.again this year 2025 and agai our stay has been brilliant. The food times and food has been very good and the restaurant dotted around the resort haven't been disappointed. I would defo book again

We spent 6 nights here for half term, sadly I would’t say this isn’t a 5* hotel, we have stayed in many different 5 star plus hotels in Turkey and this just didn’t match up to our expectations…. I’ll start off with the positives … The pool area is lovely and has lots of entertainment for young children, toddler pool, heated pool that’s very warm, water slides, nice grassed area for football/ playing . Spa and gym area was pleasant . The Actual hotel entertainment wasn’t the best, kids mini disco from 20:30-21:00 then live entertainment from 21:30 that was just a singer in the wave bar area. Arcades were ok but it smelt off in there. The kids club is newley renovated and is probably the best thing about the hotel at the moment. For couples without Children I would say pick somewhere else. The room house keeping was terrible and not up to standards of a five star hotel, the beds are so uncomfortable and rooms are looking tired in places, wall paper peeling off the wall, little bits that could be improved. The mini bar wasn’t re stocked daily, toilet rolls not replaced or towels, beds made to a very low standard. The kids warm pool also needs a deep clean as it smells and isn’t pleasant. The overall standard of the food in the hotel was sadly also very poor, not much choice for children and pretty much the same variety of food each evening. The lunch time options round the pool were satisfactory…. No other restaurants were open in the evening apart from the late night snack restaurant that was also poor. Drinks service was very slow around the pool and not enough staff for the amount of guests staying at the hotel. It is such a shame as this hotel has so much potential and you can see that they really want to improve it as there was lots of guest relations making notes and asking us throughout our stay if everything was ok… The kids warm pool also needs a deep clean as it smells and isn’t pleasant.

Brilliant hotel, brilliant staff, very good customer service. Lost suitcase on first night at airport and night manager was fantastic very helpful. Arzu and Izzy again fantastic customer service. 24 hour food and drink. Variety to choose from clean and beautiful hotel
