Shore Amora Canggu

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here in a private villa. The resort itself is incredibly clean and well run, staff are fantastic as well ready to help with any needs! Restaurant & spa services on site as well as various exercise and social events all great. I booked this for a solo get away for a nice bit of RnR and I got exactly what I wanted and more, can't fault the place! If you're lucky tony the cat may sit with you for a dinner date as well

We stayed at the villa with a private pool and it was amazing. Breakfast was decent and nice. The receptionist Shinta and Ariana were helpful and pleasant.

Amazing and perfect as always! The staff was friendly and super helpful. We will definitely come back again in the near future

I’m going to start with the good point which is the staffs who are amazing . Staffs at reception , housekeeping , drivers etc they are amazing . The bad - everything else BUT it’s not their fault . The hotel is a run down , dirty place . I would categorise it as a solid 3 star not 4 . I book a pre- paid 12 day stay here because I had to come to Canggu for a yoga retreat . I booked the Urban Top . The room itself was very big but was also so filthy with half the curtain and an outdoor bathroom with dirty bathtub . The door to the room itself has glass panel on top and was facing the main road . I had to asked for extra curtain to be put in front of the sliding door to the bathroom . The toilet has a clear glass door with washed out peeling wall . Lights in the room / bathroom were mostly broken. They fixed them and they would break again . No idea why . Breakfast was ok but could not do egg white omelet. Asked for olive oil and was told they had to ask the chef first so I just bought my own . It’s very noisy during the day and at night strange and loud noises could be heard from near by room . I got to the point where I couldn’t stand it anymore and decided to book myself a 3 night stay at La Reserve 1785 Canggu ( which is a proper 5 star stunning property ) and that literally saved my life . The staffs at Shore AMORA apologised to profusely and did offer me an upgrade to a pool villa but i would not stay here one more night even if they’d offered to pay me . They gave me a parting gift and told me that they could not give me my money back for the 3 nights I decided not to stay and I told them “ did I asked for it back ? I know the rules . It was prepaid non refundable and it’s fine . I think this place will be amazing for some people but it just isn’t for me .

Excellent experience at this hotel. The first room I got was a bit noisy due to construction going on next to the hotel and they upgraded me for the entire 15 nights of my stay to a very nice villa Breakfast is great and a-la-carte. I usually had a light one at 7am and a more full one after my yoga practice. They never said anything about just being able to have breakfast once. They also always offered to bring more food and the staff quickly learned my orders and preferences. I used the car services to get around to sites and they were always on time and drivers very courteous. Also laundry was always very fast and well done. Excellent experience all around
