The hotel and beach sit in an absolutely lovely lagoon of very shallow, calm, warm water. We stayed in one of the new seafront villas with a plunge pool - the descriptions and pictures available online really do not do these suites justice. The decor is really tasteful and spaces are huge and well laid out. Our guess is the plunge pool is 2x2m or there abouts. In general, everything in the room felt very well proportioned. The beach itself is quite narrow and fairly busy in parts, but the suites come with an almost offensively large amount of private garden/beach with various places to sit and relax. The hotel restaurant was excellent! and offers some really nice authentic Thai food - as well as plenty of less adventurous dishes for the less adventurous guests. The hotel grounds were extremely well presented and the staff were all lovely! Thank you everybody both front and back of house for such a wonderful stay. Even paying for the most expensive suites, this felt like good value for what was delivered and this place will definitely stay in our list to revisit, not least because the bay itself is one of the best we have found for endless swimming in warm, waist-deep water.
