We were happy with our stay at this small hotel, but if you are looking for entertainment or a hotel with facilities for children, definitely choose another hotel. Pros: +Cleanliness - everywhere is cleaned throughout the day, the tables in the restaurant were always tidy and ready for the next guests. Especially we must mention the gentleman who cleans most often by the pools. He is full of good humour and is probably the hardest working person in the whole hotel. +The smiling and hardworking staff +Large room - we got a room for 3 people which was very spacious. We were also very happy with the cleaning of the room. +Shopping options - about 5 minutes from the hotel there is a whole wide street full of shops and department stores. There are also quite a few shops with reasonable prices in the hotel +Beach - the whole beach bar is very modern and aesthetic. They have lunch as a choice from a wide menu (burgers, pizzas, pasta, chips, nuggets,...). There is also fruit, gozleme, waffles with ice cream and a vitamin bar (for a fee). There was always a sunbed available on the beach. Here too they were always coming and cleaning up used cups or sweeping the pavement. +Very tasty food and drinks - there are theme nights (far eastern cuisine, seafood, Mexican night, Turkish night) and different salads served each night. They also mix excellent drinks, of which they have a great selection and the best drinks are mixed by Mr Berk in the lobby bar. Cons: - Reservation of sun loungers by the pool - there is a paper on the pool loungers, where it is written that it is possible to book sun loungers from 8.00 and for max one hour. If you don't turn up for a sunbed after an hour, your towel is taken away and left at reception or by the slides. This incident happened to us because some family thought they wanted our sunbeds and they explicitly counted us if we would arrive within the hour. Unfortunately we didn't arrive within the hour so they claimed our sunbeds. On subsequent days we saw that people who had booked sunbeds next to us from 9.00am didn't come to the pool until 2.02pm and no one collected their towels (and there were more such cases here). I thus find this behaviour absolutely outrageous, even though it is a calculated act by the guests there, as the staff certainly don't have time to count the time from when someone is or is not on a sunbed. -Animation - The animations were boring and lacking in energy, as were the animators themselves. I absolutely do not understand the praise here for Moses, who just hangs out at the pool bar during the day, has no activities to do, just moderates the morning pool games (which last 30 min max) and says a few sentences during the evening program. Same with Osman, who looked totally bored and instead of encouraging people to dance during the foam party for example, and dancing himself, he was smoking. The only good animator was Kristina, who did yoga and water gymnastics. This animator exuded energy and we have never experienced such water gymnastics where you actually stretch your body, awesome. - smaller restaurants and the associated smaller selection - very small facilities for children - there are 3 slides and a small paddling pool. But there is not playground and there is no children's area in the restaurant. - as this is a hotel with 90% German clientele, there is a sycophancy to the Germans that is sometimes over the top, e.g. flag waving on departure ( and we have experienced this in many hotels with predominantly German clientele, but this really didn't happen there). Overall: We were satisfied, but would recommend the hotel more for people who like a quiet holiday in a small hotel. I would not recommend this hotel at all for families with children or people who want to have fun. In general in the future we think the hotel should be categorized as 18+.In general in the future we think the hotel should be categorized as 18+.
