An Unforgettable Stay at Silavadee – Pure Bliss!

We spent three incredible nights at Silavadee and were absolutely blown away by the experience. We arrived ahead of the official check-in time and were warmly welcomed with refreshing cold towels and drinks — a perfect start in the tropical heat. Khun Tristan, the Manager, personally greeted us and shared insider tips on the best spots around Koh Samui. It was our first visit to the island, but we ended up spending most of our time within the resort because it truly had everything we needed. While waiting for our villa to be ready, we enjoyed a leisurely lunch at the poolside restaurant. The resort had informed us at check-in about some ongoing renovations (the gym, one pool, and one restaurant), but it didn’t affect our experience at all. The remaining pool–complete with a swim-up bar–was open, and three other dining venues were available. We appreciated the transparency, and even more so the thoughtful gesture of dining vouchers as compensation. The Villa We stayed in the Oceanfront Pool Villa Suite, and it exceeded all expectations. The space was expansive and tastefully designed, featuring a master bedroom, a separate living area, and a private infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The atmosphere was serene and secluded — no noise, just the sound of waves. The villa came well-stocked with thoughtful amenities like minibars, yoga mat, flip flops, and a Bang & Olufsen speaker — a real highlight for us as music lovers. Activities The resort offered a wide range of complimentary activities, and we took full advantage: yoga, pilates, Muay Thai, and water sports filled our days. We also booked a Thai cooking class with Chef Manee for a fee. We prepared three traditional dishes and enjoyed them right after — this was the highlight for us and definitely worth trying! Dining The food was consistently excellent. Breakfast featured both buffet and ala carte selections, with special mention going to the viennoiseries at the breakfast buffet. Throughout our stay, we sampled both Thai and Western dishes and loved every bite. If you're into Thai cuisine, don’t miss the Pad Kra Pao and Pad Si-Ew — they were outstanding. Bonus: the pool bar offers free-flow happy hour drinks in the late afternoon! Service The hospitality at Silavadee stood out. Staff members were consistently warm, greeting us with a smile and a friendly “Sawadeeka/p.” The resort’s mobile app was incredibly convenient for chatting with staff — we used it to request water, book buggies, and more, and responses were always prompt and helpful. One unexpected delight was the daily delivery of afternoon snacks to our villa, which gave us the chance to sample different Thai treats each day. Final Thoughts Our stay at Silavadee was the definition of rejuvenation. From the luxurious accommodations to the exceptional service and activities, everything was thoughtfully curated for a memorable getaway. Huge thanks to Khun Tristan and the amazing team for making us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Holy cow, I loved this hotel. I only stayed one night to have some solo time before a group yoga training down the road. I thought I had one of the nicer rooms cause it was literally amazing. Huge tub and shower, spacious room around the king bed, soaking tub/jacuzzi on the porch with a couch, etc. But after seeing other pictures, many of the rooms have private pools for each unit. The ocean view is breathtaking, and the private beach was also incredible. I went down around 1 and I was the only one there! Complete with service, towels and lounge chairs. It was a nice beach for shells and sea glass, so I could see kids killing a lot of time there too. The service was great and I was really impressed with the Thai dishes at the restaurant on site. I had a full dinner and lunch there. They did have a number of things under construction as they upgrade the property (mostly dining), and although you could see that with the way things were blocked off, it didn't impact my stay. The rooms include ample toiletries, a yoga mat, dried fruits, and other complimentary treats. I literally stayed in my room until 12pm check out because I loved it so much.
