We overall enjoyed the stay and thought it was very good. The resort itself is built on a cliff with the main pool and the surrounding restaurants and spa. The views are stunning and it’s beautiful to look out on the infinity pool with the stunning ocean below. The villas themselves are quite nice and comfortable, though the bathroom door to their outdoor shower may let in mosquitoes which can be bothersome. The hard concrete design of the resort feels somewhat akin to a concrete business park and seems to already show a lot of age despite the resort only being open since 2018. The breakfast was a decent spread with the purple (açaí?) bowl being a highlight but its made to order items such as the tasty sounding jimbaran crab omelette were lackluster. We had Indonesian dinner at one of the main restaurants and they did their satay and mie goreng very well. Their grilled oxtail, while sounding great in description was too dehydrated with too sweet of sauce to be an excellent dish and the grilled baramundi was overcooked, small in portion, and expensive. Overall the stay is fine if you value seclusion on a cliff. They recognized IHG diamond ambassador elite status by providing a nice villa upgrade along with a complimentary full body massage for two. The massages were very high quality and showcased their spa, They provided a very nice welcome amenity of Indonesian desserts, snacks, and a fruit bowl. The infinity pool is very beautiful and you can swim for quite a long while before having to turn around. They have ice cream in the afternoon and the taro was a tasty flavor. They have a daily activity menu with a variety of different wellness options and activities, some of which you have to pay a supplement for. The service is great and people clearly work very hard to make sure you have a good experience. We have never tried a six sense property before. It’s a nice place to have a good vacation, but in my mind there may be other places that you can get better value for your money.
