We visited in May for 7 nights for our honeymoon. The hotel was amazing! From the moment we arrived the staff could not do more to help us - this was from hiring a car by recommending places to helping us understand the buses. The hotel has incredible views and you can even see the airport from your room! The hotel itself is really well maintained. Rooms are cleaned daily as if the “hot tub”. The cleaners were always really friendly and could not do more to help. We stayed in a junior suite with private hot tub. The views from the windows were incredible! Our suite was really spacious as was the outside patio area. The room had a tv and aircon with a safe and mini fridge. The fridge is stocked with alcoholic and soft drinks with a list of the prices for each item. The private hot tub was “Luke warm” and was one temperature throughout meaning it could be cold at times. You get towels for the pool daily in your room for each guest as well as towels available on the beds around the main pool. There is one main infinity pool which again is in perfect condition (a little cold)! With beds around the pool - mostly in the sun and one shaded. The pool area was quite quiet at most times. The staff come with a menu to ask for any drinks/food. For breakfast you eat at the main restaurant which again has the best views! The menu for breakfast is quite limited - you get a bread basket, then can choose from granola, yogurt, boiled eggs, omelettes, sunny side up eggs with toast and some extras like bacon, sausage, ham etc. You have access to tea, coffee, water, juices etc. The one thing which we struggled a bit with was the location. The hotel is stunning however it is in Pyrgos which is away from the main tourist areas. We didn’t find this too much of an issue as we hired a car, however we found the buses were really hard to understand and if you wanted to get anywhere taxis are quite expensive and for the buses you need to use a bus to the centre of Santorini (Fira) and then a bus from there to whichever area you need to be in. Buses were cash only also. We found we struggled with buses and getting back from Fira in an evening as buses only dropped you at Santo wines which was a 30 min walk. Overall, I would recommend. The views are incredible and I would visit again! Tips - - Recommend hiring a car - Prepare for a lot of steps and hills! - Visit the Kantouni sweetery - it is a 5 min walk on the square and the sweet treats are absolutely incredible!! We visited pretty much every night and they were so reasonably priced!!
