The whole experience at SMY Mediterranean was fantastic,the room was cleaned and towels were replaced every day,the reception staff were always helpful and friendly and happy to give us advice on where to go and how to get there and booked us a rental car for a couple of days.The lady that looked after breakfast everyday was wonderful she always had time to chat and kept everything clean,the breakfast buffet she laid out everyday was always fresh with plenty of choice. We were always able to get a sunbed by the pool and drinks and snacks were served all day.The pools were wonderful. I very much look forward to returning one day 👍

A Wonderful Stay at Smy Mediterranean White – May Visit

We stayed at Smy Mediterranean White in Santorini this past May (a bit late writing this review!), and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and everything felt easy and relaxed – nothing was ever too much trouble. What really made our stay stand out was the amazing staff, they were all outstanding and all so very friendly. It really made our brief stay so much more enjoyable. Maria, the front desk manager, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to help us make the most of our time on the island. She gave us a detailed, personalized map with great recommendations, arranged a dinner reservation at an unforgettable restaurant for the sunset, and even organized a rental car for us at short notice. Thanks to the team, our trip was smooth and memorable. If we didn’t live so far away in New Zealand we would stay on a regular basis, we’ll definitely be back – highly recommend! Frank and Helen

The hotel was very clean with friendly staff, especially Maria but it wasnt what i expected. I upgraded my room but the drain in the toilet smelt of egg. There was a variety of jacuzzis but none of them actually worked. The inclusive breakfast was very limited but what they had was decent and fresh. The food you order and pay for at the pool bar was actually nice though. Location was good. Mini market opposite with restaurants near by along the beach front etc. It was literally 3 minutes from the airport and opposite the runway, but the noise did not bother you, it was actually nice seeing the planes. Maria on reception was very helpful & the staff would arrange taxis when needed as uber did not work.

The hotel is only 3 km from the bustling resort of Kamari, home to a variety of bars and restaurants and only 8 km from the busy center of Fira, with views of the caldera and volcanic islands. The hotel is perfect for couples, families and solo travellers alike. It has 65 comfortable and spacious rooms, with a choice of different room types and a diversity of décor: boho-style details, traditional Cycladic architecture with an elegant contemporary twist and baroque-style furnishings inspired by the island's mansions. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, flat screen TV with international channels, safe, iron, hair dryer, and minibar. The rooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden, the pool or the sea, as well as small pools located around the rooms. Just steps from the rooms are our peaceful garden and swimming pool with a swim-up bar that provides our guests with a relaxing good time under the Greek sun. The island's black beach is only 250 meters away. Our pool bar and restaurant offer an extensive choice of wines and food, drinks, cocktails, BBQ and snacks. They serve brunch, lunch and dinner.
