Great location - bang in the middle of the island, close to both the North and South ends. Also, proximity to both the airport and the harbour. The hotel is situated on a small hill, offering nice views of the sunrises and sunsets. The reception area is kinda small. Check-in was okay - they still have the old-fashioned keys, not keycards. As in most hotels in Santorini, there were no elevators, and no one offered to carry the luggage up for us. So, we had to do it ourselves - my room was on the 2nd floor! Heaven help those staying on the 3rd F! The room was a bit small. It had a small verandah (not exclusive to the room), which offered nice views. Two small chairs and a table were placed there, and they were very dirty - not cleaned for ages. Some of the lights in the room did not work, and there were very less plugpoints. There was a kettle (with no coffee/tea satchets) and an empty minibar. We got 1 bottle of water complimentary on the 1st day - nothing on the 2nd day. And the tap water was NOT potable. Also noticed some pests in the room - ants and a small spider. Bathroom was also small with zero amenities. The commode leaked, and the shower had no enclosure! So, after every bath, the bathroom floor was completely wet. Breakfast started only at 7.30 - ideally, they could have started earlier. The restaurant was by the poolside. The breakfast spread was okay, could have had more options. Only 1 person getting the food from the kitchen and serving breakfast!
