Architecture and Ambience The property has a beautiful mix of colonial and Thai architecture, creating a timeless and elegant feel. Each corner looks postcard-worthy, and the lobby views are simply spectacular. Dining White Lotus stood out as the highlight of our dining experience, offering both an amazing vibe and excellent fine dining. Koh Poda felt a little average in terms of food, though its bar was lively and enjoyable. The Explorer Bar deserves special mention for its atmosphere and great live music performances. One limitation is the strict restaurant timings. We found ourselves constantly adjusting to their schedule. For example, when Maya was only serving buffet and not à la carte, our only option was to wait for Koh Poda to open or step outside to eat. Rooms and Facilities The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with excellent bed linen that adds a touch of luxury. That said, the interiors felt a little dated. The swimming pool is outstanding, and the overall range of facilities makes the property feel self-contained. There is plenty to do within the grounds, so much so that we rarely felt the need to step out. Family Friendliness Even though we visited as a couple, it was clear the resort offers plenty for children. Families would find it equally enjoyable. Other Practical Notes In-room dining carries a steep tray charge, which is common in resorts of this scale but worth noting. The property has a convenient entrance and exit leading directly to the road, making beach access easy. A 7-Eleven is nearby for quick snacks, although finding a Grab ride can sometimes be tricky. Overall Impression This resort balances grandeur with comfort. The ambience, dining at White Lotus, the pool, and the thoughtful touches across the property made our stay memorable. Despite a few inconveniences with restaurant timings and slightly dated rooms, we loved the experience and are certain we will return.
