Soho Boutique Puerto Morelos

MyContinental Bucuresti Gara de Nord is located near the train station and metro station. Its staffers (Bogotan, Czar, and Julia) were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room was spacious, however, the AC does not work, and the entire hotel is in need of refresh and/or upgrade.

This hotel is in a great location, just off the main square by a block or two. The room was extremely clean as was the bathroom. That's all the good stuff. Sadly, the mattress was like a rock, there was never any hot water in my shower and the hotel was noisy. My air con fan served as white noise, but not only was there tons of banging noise and echo-y conversations from inside the hotel, there was an insane amount of construction going on all day long. I cannot recommend this property unless it is your last choice. I ordered the room with the patio with hot tub. Unfortunately, (and this is not the fault of the hotel) the extremely close construction brought me eye to eye with construction workers and I wasn't comfortable using the hot tub.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, if a little bland. The one thing they are lacking is much of anyplace to hang wet swimsuits and towels. This is a minor annoyance only, though. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is no onsite breakfast, but a café across the street and another one block away each do a lovely breakfast. The best thing about We Hotel Puerto Morelos is the rooftop pool. We found ourselves there again and again, cooling off in the pool while simultaneously enjoying the view and watching the frigate birds ride the thermals out over the ocean. It is a fabulous spot.
