The worst noise issues I have ever experienced at a hotel

I stayed here as a single mum with my 8 year old daughter. We stayed for a week with breakfast included. There are good points and bad points to staying at this hotel and the local area in general. Good points: Hotel is clean and safe Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. A fairly short taxi ride from the airport too Kids club is good and the staff are friendly Unfortunately for me there are more bad points than good points.. Bad points: The noise levels are a real issue at the hotel, the hotel is overrun with groups of young lads who are coming in up to the hours of 6am and unfortunately they aren't respectful or considerate about their noise levels when they return. Every single night there were people running up and down the corridors, slamming doors, shouting and playing loud music in their rooms. Just as the hotel starts to go quiet at 6am the maids start shouting to each other and rolling their trolleys down the corridors at 8:30am. I only managed to get a couple of hours a sleep each night. During the day it was the same issue, playing their own music loudly around the pool, shouting, swearing and vaping/smoking next to families with young children. If you're looking for a holiday where you can be out in bars/clubs all night then this hotel is perfect for you however if you're looking to relax, catch up on sleep and have young kids then I would suggest staying elsewhere. Breakfast was fine, most mornings we had pastries and fruit. There wasn't a huge selection but enough to choose from for a week. We had lunch a few times around the pool at the snack bar which was also fine but the menu could do with a few more choices adding eg, kids menu selection. I also ordered the nachos one day and it was a bowl with chopped tomatoes and onions with the tortilla chips and guacamole (no cheese or sour cream) Although there are a fair few restaurants within walking distance from the hotel I found the menus were a lot of the same (burgers, pizza, chips) and to be honest I became bored very quickly and the service seemed to be very slow in most of the restaurants we went to, with me having to ask multiple times for the bill etc Unfortunately I would not return to the hotel and if I returned to Mallorca I would stay in a different area

My self and husband stayed here for 10 days in may,lovely hotel spotlessly clean.all staff work very hard ,especially the housekeepers and kitchen/ restaurant staff there are 3 poos 2 for smaller children and toddlers. At the end if the day there is a safety fence put around the pool lovely food ,something for everyone so much variety, beds were changed every 3 days and clean towels everyday/ room clean ,it's about 5 mins walk yo the beach there's shops and restaurant s ,just opposite. An Indian restaurant just down the road 5-10 mins away with delicious food & great service .we were left a bottle of wine each in our room for our birthdays 🎂 [thankyou for that sol gladalope]there were families. Groups of younger women/ lads ,elderly .we were very pleased with our room on the corner with pool view & a nice size balcony, we didn't have a kettle when we arrived not sure if we should of booked one ,but we requested a kettle and one was brought straight away 😀..no extra charge for a safe it's digital you put in your own code easy to work .the pools area is cleaned after close of day and alm the area is washed down every morning, there are lifeguards at each pool & fun around midday with water fun/ exercises...all being well we would love yo return next year

Fantastic stay clean and comfortable rooms lovey staff free drinks were a little bonus good location easy walking distance to beach local bars and strip pool and night entertainment good for families or groups catered for all would definitely stay again

Pleasant stay

I stayed here with a friend for a week at the end of may. The room was clean but was on floor one so the view was of the flat roof. The first two nights were awful because a group of young lads were staying on the same floor and were roudy and running along the corridor until 6am. I asked to be moved and one member of staff begrudgingly told us to get our things together and go back to reception. When we came back with our things he was checking someone in so I spoke with the other staff member said asked if the new room had a pool view and she said no. I told her I wanted a pool view because that’s what we paid for and it wasn’t our fault we were being moved. We ended up on floor 5 with a pool view and the rest of the week was great. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choices but the dinner was awful (unless you like chips) but you could have cold meats and salad. We ate out most nights. The pool was lovely and there’s also an indoor pool. There was pool aerobics in the afternoon and plenty of sun beds. We didn’t get to see the entertainment as we went to bed around 10 most nights but there was plenty on if we wanted to go. All in all it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely go again. The A11 bus goes from the airport and stops right outside the hotel for around €3.50 each way. Better than a €40 taxi!

Magaluf mini-break.

Sol Guadeloupe. 3 night stay. Half board basis. Coach driver dropped us up the road and left us to walk up to hotel. Wasn’t actually sure at first where entrance was… Once inside, smart foyer. . Only 1 lady at reception. She was checking a couple in-but seemed like such a slow process…she didn’t seem too ‘welcoming’ either. More like she couldn’t be bothered actually. Finally got to our room. Pool view. Nice room. Clean but basic, comfy bed but very springy and squeaked when you sat on it…Fridge, open fronted wardrobe, and a small table and another fold out bed. We had a couple of chairs and table on balcony too. No kettle though,or tea and coffee in room. I mean this is meant to be a 4 star hotel-but I was reminded it’s ‘4 star Magaluf’ ….. Clean bathroom, clean towels daily, and maids attended each day. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful! Dinner was shocking and not a huge amount of choice..!! Cold food too… Spoke to Hotel quality manager about it. I mean they tried to make it better-but dinner was never ‘hot’..Just warm / tepid.. Drinks very reasonably priced…Pina colada’s were amazing at this hotel! We had chips for lunch each day at hotel, from snack bar. Plentiful and tasted delicious!! Nice pool area. Water a bit cold though. Lots and lots of sun beds, no matter what time you went down to pool. Hotel near loads and loads of shops and supermarkets! Beach less than 5 mins walk.. Such a beautiful welcoming beach too!! Centre of Magaluf wasn’t that far aware… maybe 10 to 15 mins walk.. far enough for us to still be able to sleep, but near enough if you wanted to be in the midst of it all. Would I stay at hotel Guadeloupe again? Maybe - but only on b&b basis..
