Currently at the Don Marco, comfortable room, everything you need,though box of tissues would be nice. Food faultless, service top notch,this is 5* compared to the average spanish 4* hotels. Had 4 baby ducks running around with mum and dad, now sadly down to 3.....hope the rest survive! Defineately coming back, will be even better when the bigger hotel has finished it's refurb.

Very nice location, lovely hotel & friendly staff throughout the hotel. Good food & drink on the all inc. package. We're staying at the moment, the room 3101 doesn't get much sun, but is clean & has a pool on the doorstep. One problem at the moment is the remodelling of the sister hotel on the complex, there's constant building work going on, with noise, and the beach club pool area is closed!

Lovely holiday at recently renovated hotel

Stayed here for a week and had a lovely holiday. Have stayed at the Don Pablo eight times previously but as it is currently being renovated, decided to stay at the Don Marco instead. This hotel was renovated last year and it's very nice. Clean and modern. The accommodation is adults only but there is no separate restaurant or bar in the Don Marco so these are shared with the adjoining Don Pedro where there are lots of families with children (we were aware of this before our stay). The rooms are modern and clean. The bathroom area is separated from the bedroom space with a clothes hanging rail divider. The toilet is in one cubicle and the shower in another, both screened with frosted glass (see photographs). It seemed awkward at first but got used to it and we were comfortable in the room. The toilet and shower cubicles are missing some shelves or hooks as a way to keep your toiletries/products off the floor. There was a choice of pillow types in the room. There was a fridge and kettle. There was also a proper hair dryer (not one wired into the bathroom area) in a drawer which was good. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed daily but our bedding wasn't changed during our week's stay. The food and drinks on all inclusive was very good. The choice in the restaurant for all meals was very good. As the restaurant is smaller than the Don Pablo, there is slightly less choice than there and it can get busy at times, but the quality of what was on offer was very similar. The drinks in the bar included lots of branded drinks on all inclusive. The bar was also offering the snack food menu between 12:30 and 4pm which was usually offered in the main outdoor pool bar, which is currently closed due to the Don Pablo renovations, so it was good to still have that available. There was also an extra breakfast service set up in the bar to offer a second breakfast space be 9 and 10:30. The staff in the restaurant and bar were friendly and worked very hard. It was nice to see lots of the familiar staff from the Don Pablo working in the other bar and restaurant while the Pablo is closed. There was some noise from the renovation depending on which room or pool you used. Staff said they'd been told the Don Pablo hotel should reopen in June but there looks to still be a lot of work to do before then. Really enjoyed our holiday. Would definitely stay here again or at the Don Pablo when it reopens.
