After three years, I finally returned to a place that once left a quiet mark on my soul. And this time, to celebrate something special: my birthday. From the moment I stepped back into SOORI Bali, it felt like time folded into itself. As if nothing had changed, yet everything felt deeper. The same calming rhythm of the ocean. The same volcanic black sand underfoot. But this time, it meant more, it felt like coming home. SOORI reminded me that home can also be a feeling. A connection. A moment. It’s not always built by walls or blood, but by warmth, sincerity, and stillness. And that’s what SOORI offers, not just a stay!!! The minimalist architecture blends seamlessly with the land, each structure feels like it grew from the earth itself. The 1km stretch of dramatic black sand beach is nothing short of cinematic, especially as the golden hour lights up the sky. One of my favorite moments was having sunset drinks and canapés at the cliffside gazebo, where the ocean below whispered and the sky performed its nightly masterpiece. Didn’t expect to feel this much… but wow, what a show. What made it all even more special was reconnecting with the SOORI team, especially Ms. Dian, Ms. Emilie, Mr. Mike and Mr. Rama whose warmth and hospitality left a deep impression. It’s rare to feel so genuinely welcomed and remembered. Thank you, SOORI Bali, for the grace, the silence, the beauty. All perfect. Truly. And I know I’ll return again.
