The hotel is a luxury establishment resting peacefully in the Cycladic village of Finikia, upon the village's natural slopes. Its premises provide clear and lavish views over the deep blues of the Aegean Sea and offer a strong sense of locality. Terrible Honeymoon Experience – Do Not Recommend

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The hotel was extremely difficult to find, and there are a lot of uneven steps down a hill that aren’t mentioned anywhere—making it very difficult to carry suitcases. Our room was a nightmare. It had an unpleasant smell, the shower was broken and dirty and barely functioning, and the shutter on the balcony door was also broken. On top of that, our room was not cleaned once during our entire 4-night stay. The pool was also poorly maintained—it was cold, not cleaned, and eventually became filled with insects, making it completely unusable. The hotel website promises welcome drinks and a fruit platter on arrival, but we didn’t receive either. When we raised these concerns, the staff clearly couldn’t have cared less and offered no solutions or support. For the price paid, this stay was unacceptable. We strongly advise against booking this hotel, especially for a special occasion.

Amazing hotel and exceptional staff!

The views from this hotel are absolutely stunning! I loved that the hotel is small because it allows the staff to manage everything with no issues. The complementary breakfast was great and even the bar food was delicious. I loved the shower in the room and the private plunge pool. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Thank you Anna, Cleopatra, Flora, Sayed and the cleaning guys Mr. B and Mr. F for making this an amazing vacation and hope to be back really soon!

I ended up at Sophia Boutique Hotel last minute and it turned out to be the best decision! Anna welcomed me with a warm hug, and the entire team made me feel like family. Cleopatra, the manager, is absolutely fantastic — so helpful, kind, and full of great recommendations. Flora’s breakfasts are delicious and a daily highlight, and the food overall is fresh and perfect for poolside dining. The location is ideal — a short, flat walk to Oia (no hills!), and super easy with luggage. Relaxed, friendly, and truly special. Highly recommend

amazing stay

I've just returned from Sophia Boutique following a surprise getaway by my husband. I cant fault anything from this place. the staff are all great, the hotel is spotless. the breakfast is super delicious and generous . Great location, only 2km to go to OIA or you can jump on the bus for 2euros same cost if you going to Fira. Krystal was just so lovely and professional , she is a big asset to the hotel. a special shout out to Yvan from Georgia, to the lady who serves out the breakfast and also to the other guys who worked in the office (sorry didn't get their names).
