The resort is not ready for visitors. Our TV did not have reception. The maintenance man told us it was because of the weather. We told him we had never had it for two days. He finally understood and put in a new coaxial cable and it worked. The safe needed batteries. My husband told the same man three time and he finally believed him and put in new batteries and it worked. The pool is cold and so is the hot tub. The front desk gives you different information about the same topic. Ex: Breakfast times. We had water pumping through pipes all night. Was told it would be shut off the next night. It wasn’t until my husband went to the front desk at 10PM and was told they could not get in touch with the technician and they could move our room. Shortly after the water stopped. The staff except for most of the front desk try extremely hard. Their bar area is nice. We ordered a flatbread and it was good. The breakfast is good, also. It is a 10 minute walk to Fira. As I write this there are drills going off, banging, loud talk and cellphones going off. As we came back to our room there were mattresses piled haphazardly and one blocking our way to the room. Half of this place is under construction. Needless to say it is has not been a relaxing stay.
