Holiday of a lifetime!!! Will do the boring bits first ... weigh, weigh, weigh your luggage, make sure you've paid for extra on the Sea plane leg and you have proof (they still argued) or make sure with your travel agent that they will refund the extra charges. Do take twice as much sun cream as you would normally use - it is very very strong and don't forget to use it when snorkelling on the amazing House reef ... burnt tops of legs ... very uncomfortable LOL. Do not forget any of your toiletries, especially lady/monthly specific items, they do not carry them in the little shop. Do go all inclusive. Now to the amazing, wonderful, fantastic bits. Really don't know where to start. Never been on Sea Plane, so that was an exhilarating experience. Arrived at resort to be escorted onto boat to go over to the Island. WOW ... the water is the colour you see in photo's and on the TV, it is not photoshopped, absolutely mind blowing. Greeted by resort staff, could not be more helpful or welcoming. You are allocated a dedicated staff member, who will help you with any issues, bookings, etc. throughout your stay, thank you U. You go through the usual arrival stuff and are then escorted or driven (if required) to your accommodation. We stayed in one of the Deluxe Beach villas (121). Lovely. Opens onto the beach and lagoon, where you can snorkel (if you're careful of the tide and corals), see loads of tiny fish and baby black and white reef tip sharks - absolutely amazing, We scuba dive and cannot praise the lads in the Dive shop enough, nor the chaps & Captain on the dive boat. The diving is PHENOMENAL!! It really was like diving into an aquarium. A Leopard shark, Reef tip sharks, Grey shark, Sting ray, Eagle rays, TURTLES!!!!! You name it, we saw it, really needed heads on swivels. The guides were informative, knowledgeable, calm and professional. The dive sites are all within easy reach of the resort. On the boat at 8 am, back on land by 11 / 11.30 after 2 dives. Easily some of the best diving we have ever done. The boat crew look after and set up your kit, help you in and out, provide tea and water, lovely little cakes and fruit - thoroughly spoilt. The current kicked up when we dived on the House reef, so visibility was poor and we had to abort early, but given what you can see when snorkelling, would definitely give it a go when conditions are better. Hubby did his 100th dive while here and I did my 115th, can't think of a better place to do them. The staff could not do enough for you, always had a smile. Food - breakfast and lunches, buffet style, fresh and plentiful. Blown away by the dahls. Again staff were lovely. Sometimes a little slow on table clearance, but as there is no rush, not a huge problem. The Spice restaurant -
