Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff and Great Location

I stayed at Sunbay Hotel for a few nights during my trip to Barbados, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and a few minutes’ drive to Oistins and other popular spots. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and happy to offer tips about the area. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The pool area was quiet and a nice spot to unwind in the afternoons. I also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere—great for travelers who want to relax without the noise of big resorts. Not a luxury hotel, but definitely good value for the price. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, well-located place to stay in Barbados.

The staff at Sunbay Hotel were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. They went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. I truly appreciated their warm hospitality and support. The front desk team was always available to assist, and the housekeeping staff kept everything spotless. Their positive attitude really made my trip more enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Overall had a blast the staff are the best. The rooms are basic but you get what you pay for. I would come again as the staff made my stay even greater. Big up the kitchen staff the reception staff and not leaving out the manager. She was lovely and welcoming and as I already said I would come back again.

Hotel was very basic which was what I expected with the price , room were cleaned daily with fresh towels etc which was great , breakfast was just ok ,but they really need to do something about the Marjory of the staff they are downright miserable especially in the restaurant,had got in touch with hotel few weeks prior to arrival to say was looking forward to my stay & it was actually my honeymoon,also said at check in , didn’t spark any interest ,really only used hotel as a base , lovely island but won’t return to hotel
