Sunrise Hotel

It was a first for Turkey for us and so a first at this hotel. The reviews were what sold this hotel to us. It is a good little hotel. The staff on reception always gave you a cheery hello whatever time of day and were very helpful. Also the cleaners and the beach guy. He works particularly hard everyday, sorting out parasols and getting drinks for everyone, all single handed. The pool is a decent size but you can’t really get away from it as there’s not much room but the beach which is two steps away has loads of space around you and a lovely view. Never a problem getting a sunbed in September but again there’s always the ones that race out to bed snatch early doors. The room is of a decent size, except only one person at a time can get around the end of the bed. Safe very reasonable and a fridge. Good drawer space and bathroom a good size. Beds are hard but you don’t notice after the first night. The breakfast is really very good with egg station and everything you could want and good coffee from the machine. The waiters are on it, you don’t get left with an empty plate for long as it is whipped away very quickly. All in all a lovely holiday in Turkey and the location is fantastic as it’s half way between Marmaris and Icmeler so good for walking, and sufficiently away from the louder hotels and restaurants to be relatively quiet at night.

Excellent hotel, loved everything about it, friendly, welcoming staff, spotlessly clean, comfortable. The breakfasts were great with lots of hot and cold selection, the egg station was superb with any type of eggs you required. Sunrise Hotel is directly on its own stretch of beach with sunbeds. In September we were always able to get a bed, enjoying a late swim each night as the sun went down. Air con was included, there was a minimal charge for the safe and there was the bonus of a fridge in the room. The promenade is 10 kms long from Marmaris harbour to Icemeler harbour, a beautiful walk and water taxis for if you don't want to walk back. We will certainly return to this lovely hotel.

First time staying in the hotel, really enjoyed it. Staff were excellent all round, especially the bar staff, Channel( my spelling🫣) and the gang great service and also so friendly. The omelette chef each morning nothing to much of a problem for him, brilliant service. Rooms slightly on the small side, shower was excellent and the cleaning first class. About a 15 min stroll to the Blue Port, but plenty of buses 40tl gets you there in jig time. If you’re expecting a YOLO type of holiday with all the madness which that involves maybe not for you. If you are after a nice chilled holiday withexcellent service and still a good laugh, youwon’t go far wrong here.

We have been coming to the Sunrise for many years and we are never disappointed. All the staff from the reception, bar, breakfast and the cleaners are all brilliant and make this hotel what it is. A special mention to Ali in the superb spa. Beautifully clean, superb breakfast and lovely location no wonder people keep coming back.

The Sunrise Hotel is in a great location right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and the place is insanely clean. The staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them. The pool area is kept immaculate and in our experience you could always get a sunbed. The breakfast was amazing, the choice of food was immense and fresh cooked omelettes where available everyday. The hotel is set back from the main road, so you dont really notice the traffic, and we stayed in a room overlooking that area. Aircon is included in the room rate and beilieve me in August you need it. The safe is payable, we where there 11 days and it only cost us £10. The bathroom is well equipped with toiletries and a hair dryer, walk in shower. The room also has tea and coffee (supplied) making facilities so no need to take a kettle or cups. There is also a small fridge. Towels and linen changed regularly. Food at the poolside bar was very good and not badly priced for a hotel. Drinks at the bar where as you'd expect them to be for a hotel. The only downside I could find with this hotel, and this is not just unique to them, is you only get one room door key. The hotel was quiet and only music played was at the bar. The hotel has a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere. For those who want to pamper themselves the hotel has a Massage/Spa service which is payable. There is also a small gym. The beds where very comfortable and the room had a large wardrobe with hangers. I would definitely book this hotel again.
