To preface: We didn't pay much to go here, so we didn't expect much. Our original room was on the seventh floor. The sunset view was really nice but...The noise of the other guests either fighting or being "friendly" were overwhelming. The walls were paper thin. It was also next to a mosque that called out all the shout-outs starting at about five am The seventh floor is fine if you have a dependable lift. It wasn't dependable and I had to walk up the seven flights We moved to building two, which was next to the pool. The pool area was really noisy, playing loud music all day with HUGE speakers in a relatively small area. The children's show started at 9.30 pm until about 11 pm. After that the music started again, along with the alcohol fuelled fights or loud partying. Once again the lift was temperamental and I had to climb five flights at least three times. Last event was as we were leaving I had my cases ready to go and the lift clapped out. The food was slop. Meat was served grilled then next meal in a stew. Next time it was curry, then it was soup. I had s&d. I don't know if it was the hotel food or whether something was going around as some other guests were also ill. The saving grace was the beach. There were plenty of loungers and parasols. There was a snack bar (paid) and a little soda stand. There were recycled cups at the soda stand. Disgusting but we bought our own mugs. The drinks on offer around the hotel was soda, wine and vodka. If you want anything else it was paid for I won't be going back there
