Surin Beach Resort Phuket

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Surin. Phuket was the last stop on our group's two-week tour of Thailand (seven people in total), and after countless excursions, food tours, and night markets, we were so excited to just relax and enjoy the luxuries of a five-star resort. And I can happily state that our expectations were exceeded. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the Surin were all smiles. Our check-in process was fast, and we were quickly granted access to our beachfront bungalow via a golf cart ride. Note: I HIGHLY recommend splurging for the beachfront bungalows. They are steps from the beach and provide a wonderful view to wake up to each morning. The bathrooms are massive, and the units stayed cool the entire time we were there, even though it was 90+ degrees (Fahrenheit) each day. In the coming days, we dined at the Beach Restaurant and breakfast buffet, lounged by the beach and pool, ordered food and drinks, visited the spa, and just enjoyed the many amenities the Surin had to offer. The staff were always ready to help with a smile; never once did we feel like we were putting anyone out. Even when getting a car into Phuket for some shopping, we felt catered to at every turn. We were sad to leave, departing on the only rainy day during our entire trip, the staff of the Surin waving goodbye in the rear-view mirror. If you're looking to visit Phuket and want a private, five-star experience like no other, don't bother looking elsewhere. For the price and the service, it can't be beaten. I've already started looking at booking another trip to Thailand for my wife and I, and the Surin will most definitely make our list once again!

It's a very nice hotel on a beautiful privat beach with an unforgettable sea view. Very friendly stuff and tasty food. Love this place!

They had no swimming flags on the ocean the whole time I was there and the lifeguards got mad at me for even dipping my toes in the ocean. This was literally the only thing I was looking forward to about being at the resort. The resort is actually nice but if you can’t swim in the ocean then there isn’t anything to do.
