Situated in the quiet area of Playa Blanca, the THB Tropical Island is particularly suitable for families with children, large families and also groups of friends. The hotel is located 28 km from the airport. It has free outdoor parking and a courtesy daily beach shuttle service. This magnificent resort boasts a total of 16 pools for adults and children, 8 of which are heated during the winter season. This hotel offers you everything you need on site: tennis courts, a football field, beach volleyball, spa and fitness room. The facilities for children include a water park, Miniclub, heated pools and play areas. There is also a packed entertainment and leisure programme including evening shows, à la carte dining, bars and lots more besides. Those seeking some quiet time should head for our adults only Premium Zone, complete with a swimming pool, cocktail bar and chill out area. All the apartments include free WiFi and a sitting room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and terrace or balcony. Guests may choose from the following meal plans: Accommodation Only, Bed & Breakfast, Half Board and All Inclusive. All meals are served in the buffet restaurant.

The hotel grounds is huge with 15 pools a gym supermarket splash park and main pool with slides. However on our stay unfortunately the main pool was been renovated ready for a busy summer although we didn't stay disappointed for very long the rest of the hotel grounds and staff entertainment Made up for this every single member of staff I spoke to or asked for help of was always more than happy to help and with a smile on there face from front desk reception all the way through to the cleaners the hotel is in a great location 10 mins walk to the beach or 3.5 euros in a taxi we look forward to returning very soon with friends and the main pool up and running.we were self catering we did use the on site restaurant a few times and the food was nice and fairly priced again staff was friendly and more than happy to assist. Shout out to the pool guard aswell everytime we passed he always said hello and was always smiling same to the lads in the supermarket on site friendly service smile on faces good bit banter fairly priced aswell get some good bargains in there. Overall we can't recommend this place enough we stayed in room 601

Brilliant holiday! THB tropical island resort was Great!

We are a family of four, Just got back from a week self catering at THB tropical island. For us we got a great deal, our apartment was clean and comfortable had everything we needed to make our breakfast and the odd meal if we stayed on site. We had coffee machine kettle hob microwave/grill / fridge and enough crockery. Really comfortable beds, sofa bed for our kids. Cleaned daily, fresh towels etc. Shower was good and even the hairdryer! We walked into playa blanca sea front most days for our evening meals. We love walking and it's only a 10/ 15 mins walk to find loads of restaurants/ bars /cafe. Or just get a taxi 3 euros. The THB resort was lovely, clean, warm swimming pools, evening entertainment was great! All staff at reception so friendly and helpful. We even made friends with one of the Managers Patricia who came to check we were enjoying our stay and ended up chatting to us for a while and she was so good to our kids giving them colouring books and balloons, She was so helpful and really cared about the hotel guests. We were self catering but did eat once at restaurant and it was ok but we like to walk out each night to eat. This holiday was brilliant, the apartment was an excellent base for us , Thank you THB tropical island. We'd definitely visit again.
