The Acala Hotel

Sadly this hotel was rather disappointing. We stayed for 3 nights, the sheets in the day bed outside our room were dirty, there were holes in the sheets in the main bed and the food left a lot to be desired. There were also at least 160 steep steps to our room from reception, which was not ideal for my friend. Two mornings out of 3, my French toast was cold, my friends scrambled egg and mushrooms on toast consisted of one mushroom sliced, one egg scrambled and a slice of sourdough toast, not enough to fill us up for the day. To redeem themselves, the staff in reception were very helpful when we were waiting for our transport to take us to the fast boat.

Just amazing. Great location up on the hill, the team were super helpful and super nice. The rooms were super clean, the shuttle service really easy and the breakfasts were all great. Couldn't ask for more
