Peace, quiet and a good starting base

Felt like a slice of paradise. We chose Sanur as it was our first trip to Bali. It would be our first destination on a 3 week visit and we wanted to get over the 17 hour flight from the UK in one of the less frantic resorts. The Alantara is situated inland, the other side of the main road however they have an hourly shuttle onto the main road in Sanur with plenty of bars and places to eat and the beach and Icon mall are a 10 minute walk from where the shuttle drops you. Taxi back through Grab is £1.50. The Alantara was immaculate. Couldn't pick a fault in any aspect with the pool area and staff being my standout favourites. Meals and drinks weren't badly priced for a hotel, be mindful that that price in the menu doesn't include taxes which is quite common in Bali. We spent 6 nights at the Alantara and would definitely look to use again.

Absolutely fabulous resort. We loved everything about the Alantara. The accommodation, the staff, the food, the pool and everything was 10 out of 10.
