Official Description

The Resort is a luxury gated hotel/condo resort located on Governor's Road (continuation of Grace Bay Road past Leeward gates) in the prominent gated community of Leeward in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. The Resort being a condo-style hotel/resort enhances the guest's stay as they experience more privacy and tranquility and feel like they are right at home. All units are designed with dark wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite/marble countertops, and travertine floors throughout. All units feature ceiling fans and central air conditioning, ensuring personal comfort and control. There is a laptop-compatible safe in each unit, as well as a flat screen LCD television. Guests can travel light since all units feature a front-load washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board. Our entire team at The Atrium Resort is fully vaccinated for Covid-19

A part of the Interval International catalog for places to stay around the work The Atrium was an okay option

The Atrium is a time share option when using Interval International. 3 bed 2 bath with a walkout to the pool. It’s very quiet, clean, and bug free. There were no restaurants or bars in the resort. A car is a must to get around the island. It’s a quiet place to swim, sleep, and chill with your friends or family. When you leave the property and find adventures you will start to see why Turks and Caicos is a must go to Island Vacation.

We stayed in a ground level studio. Nice A/C, comfortable bed, pool view. Pool area is nice, no food, music, or drinks. The associated nice beach is a 8-10 min walk where they have free chairs and umbrellas waiting. Each unit has plenty beach towels.

NICE POOL - NICE EFFICIENCY APARTMENT - POORLY MAINTAINED

Convenient location about 3 miles from the action at Grace Bay, beautiful pool, clean efficiency apartment with nice bed and bath, and full kitchen with fridge, W&D, DW, cook top, coffee maker, blender etc., that came in very handy on this very expensive island (est saved $1000/5 days by eating and drinking in), but the accolades stop there. The gym is well stocked but filthy, the wifi is weak and jumps from room to room when away from your room and forget about streaming, the TVs are probably 15 years old with funky channels and old movies, the pool table is way off level so the balls all roll to oneside, the ping pong paddles are probably the originals from 10-15 years ago, the staff leaves at 5:00, no restaurant or bar on site or nearby. Good value for the price around $300/night in peak season with hotels on the water at Grace Bay rangiong from $550-$3000/night. You'll need a car. I would have given it 4-5 stars if they would just do a little upgrading and maintenance.

Wonderfully quiet with huge pools

I would recommend the Atrium to anyone wanting spend a little less because it is not on the beach. We chose it for its peace and quiet and wonderful huge pool. No restaurant. No bar. Pool.- The deepest area is 5ft. The second area is 4ft with a very shallow area for kiddies to play. The pool and loungers never busy. The beach is an 8-10 minute walk away. The Atrium is within a gated community and is very secure. Our 1 bedroom king bed condo had 1 1/2 bathrooms. The rooms were large. Our unit, A2-2 was clean and had excellent lighting. A few colourful pillows and larger wall pictures would have made it much more inviting, but it seems to depend on the unit owner. Very comfortable beds with wood surround and low height may be awkward for some people. Be aware that the loungers the resort provides on the beach are very hard, no cushions. We found sitting on the sand more comfortable! Some construction work at beach, but it might be ending soon. We did have a problem with someone smoking Cannabis (which is illegal here) near our balcony- the strong smell kept us from enjoying our balcony at times and though reported, not enough was done to stop the problem, and there was no feedback to us, despite asking the manager several times. However, when we reported a small problem with our shower, it was tended to immediately. Need rental car for groceries and restaurant meals. (Bring your own sugar. None provided.) Lovely and quiet, especially at night. Beware a few rooms have no view at all. Ask! No phone in room. Front desk will make restaurant reservations for you. Nicely lit up at night. Would be happy to visit again.

Girls Trip

Not a heated pool-hot tub was filthy and asked for it to be cleaned. Noted many hazards around the pool area where someone could definitely get hurt. Definitely would need a rental car. We took a taxi called by the young lady (obviously a friend) he charged us $50.00 USA dollars. Ripped off. The manager got us a preferred taxi driver for $15.00 USA dollars.
