Crafting Canang Sari: A Soulful Balinese Experience

A beautiful afternoon at the luxurious Bidadari Villas & Spa, immersed in the sacred tradition of Canang Sari—the daily Balinese offering. After a warm and gracious welcome, I was dressed in a traditional sarong and sash, then guided to a peaceful garden beside the temple. Under the gentle shade of trees, I learned to handcraft four different offerings, led by the graceful and knowledgeable Desak, with kind assistance from Putu. It was a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience—deeply spiritual, beautifully serene, and filled with meaning. I am humbled and filled with gratitude.

We enjoyed our stay at Bidadari Villas. The staff were kind and accommodating . The villa was private, peaceful and clean, we loved having our own pool. The location was great being close to Canggu and Seminyak, also walking distance to a 24 hour mart and a really nice Italian restaurant.

Perfect for families and groups wanting to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Seminyak. Great Villas with private pool, staff are friendly and Ketut stood out in making sure the visit was a memorable one. Easy connectivity to both south and north of Bali. Food options can improve.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and spacious villas. My group consisted of 5 ladies and we stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. The breakfast is great with several options and Enik was so friendly. She remember my breakfast order and offered suggestions that were perfect. Dilla and Mawr at the front desk were helpful with advice for how to get around, we didn't know about GoGrek. Everyone is friendly and I hate I didn't write names but the guy that took my pictures and walked us to the local store; the gentlemen that spoke each morning in the restaurant making sure we didn't need anything or the manager or owner, a gentleman who wanted to make sure we had his cell phone number when we left in case we needed directions or help.
