The Cavalier is situated on Ocean Drive, sitting just steps from the beach and Lummus Park, this South Beach boutique hotel is in close proximity to the city's most important sites and ever growing arts and culture scene, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. A walk through the Art Deco Historic District, you'll see the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world. A stroll on Lincoln Road will bring you popular shopping and dining hotspots. You'll enjoy the relaxed scene of South Beach while staying near the heart of the major attractions and sights that have come to define South Beach. There are two major airports located within close proximity of the hotel: Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Miami International Airport. The hotel has 45 rooms with contemporary furniture and terra cotta floors. Amenities include television, in-room safe, direct dial phone, voicemail, computerized door lock, overhead fan, and a small work desk. Please note a security deposit of USD 200.00 is due at the time of booking for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out, subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Please note the resort fee of $28 (tax inclusive) per day includes the following: -Breakfast -2 beach chairs -WiFi -Beach towels -Club passes -Use of safety deposit box in room Valet Parking is offered at $45 per day.

Do not stay if you like sleep

Do not stay here if you value sleep. While the hotel has visual appeal, the super this walls and doors, and wood flooring in the hallway cause every sign to echo through the entire floor. So when people come back to their rooms at 2 in the morning and have conversations in the hallway, walk back and forth in heels, or leave their doors open like it’s a college dorm and not a hotel you will be woken up, And when the fire department is called to the hotel to investigate a smoky smell but the hotel staff does nothing to warn you that there might be danger and also doesn’t let you know that it’s safe to return to the room you evacuated only because you heard other guests in the hallway talk about the fire department being there, there goes another night’s sleep. So a two night stay turned into two very sleepless nights.

OK For A Short Stay

We had kind of a basic, no view room. The sink faucet’s water was a very thin drip, but the rain shower was excellent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had the complementary breakfast and waited quite a while, but all of the plates, for everybody seemed to come out at the same time. This resulted in room temperature eggs, potatoes, etc. I am always annoyed by mandatory resort fees when we only stay one night and have no opportunity to use their beach facility before checking out at 11 AM.

Chic Hotel With Prime Location

We stayed here for 2 nights while waiting for our cruise to set sail and we literally stumbled on this gem. The hotel was very comfortable and accommodating to our needs with a very stylish art deco design. Breakfast was provided with a nice choice each morning. One of the biggest perks was that it's right on the beach, literally 2 minutes from the front door and you're there. There is the option included to hire beach chairs/sun loungers but we didn't take advantage of this. Cannot recommend this hotel enough and would love to visit again in the future.

Nice Location, But Noise from the HVAC system Ruined Our Stay

We just returned from a five-day family vacation at the Cavalier Hotel. While the location is great and two nights were quiet and comfortable, we had serious issues with noise inside the hotel on two of the nights. Our first room on the 3rd floor had a loud, constant vent noise that made it hard to rest. We were moved to Room 105, which was much better—until our last night, when an extremely loud mechanical noise, like a drill, started around 10 PM and went on until 3:30 AM. It was impossible to sleep, and the staff on duty couldn’t do anything about it. We expected typical street noise being on Ocean Drive, but these sounds came from within the hotel itself. It really impacted our ability to relax and get the rest we needed before a long drive home. I’ve reached out to the hotel by email to share our experience, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any response. That’s why I’m now leaving this review and giving a poor rating.

Id definitely stay again

I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were spacious and clean, although the TV was limited to just one channel. The hotel offers free beach towels and loungers at the beach for guests. The property was clean and comfortable, with a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal for our needs.
