We received a warm welcome upon checking in at the hotel. However, once we entered our room, we discovered there was no hot water when we wanted to take a shower. We reported this issue several times to the reception staff but received various explanations without any resolution. It was quite frustrating to shower in cold water, especially for my wife, who has long hair and struggled to wash it with low water pressure. After obtaining the email address of the hotel manager and exchanging several emails, we were offered to switch to a smaller room. Since we had booked a premium room, we were not interested in downgrading. Eventually, the hotel manager admitted that there would be no hot water during our 7-day stay, as they had ordered a new water heater that would take over a week to arrive. I requested a refund on the hotel price, but the manager directed me to send the request to Booking.com. The pool appeared unhealthy, with green water and only about 3 cm of visibility. Breakfast was disappointing, featuring a very limited selection. While the hotel claims to be a five-star establishment, I would rate it closer to two stars. Although the staff were friendly, they seemed embarrassed by the hotel's low standards. The safe was not secured, making it easy for someone to take it under their arm, and all valuables were kept in one place, which posed a risk of theft. Housekeeping was satisfactory, and the Wi-Fi worked fine. What ultimately saved our stay was the location and the beautiful beach.
