A great all-inclusive hotel.

I have been to the Ixian 5 times. My family have also stayed on a number of occasions. The Ixian is the best; relaxing, friendly, and in a good location away from the hustle and bustle of Rhodes town, but near the main bus routes and with ample taxis. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to and from the airport and the Old Town. Adult only and totally relaxing.

We stayed mid October and really enjoyed our stay .As most say the food and staff are great can't believe the negative reviews.The evening entertainment was also really good compared to some hotels we have stayed in. Its a easy 10 minute to the main road if you want to catch a bus into the old town and also a 10 minute walk into Ixia or Llalyso, by road or pebbled beach. We would defiantly return. We had a sea view above the restaurant but was still very quite.

This was my fourth stay at this amazing hotel in Greece, and once again it was truly special! Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back — the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and exceptional service make it feel like a home away from home. A wonderful surprise this time was an invitation from the hotel owner to one of the best fish restaurants in Rhodes — a lovely gift for loyal returning guests. Such a thoughtful gesture made my stay even more memorable. I’ll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It’s ok for laying around the pool

We recently stayed here for a weeks all inclusive. The location is great with only a 20 minute journey from the airport and Rhodes city centre. The hotel is also situated right on the beach with a view of Marmaris which is very nice. Room - big, spacious and cleaned daily. However, the room was very tired and in need of repair works. Our phone did not work and despite letting reception know twice, no one came to fix it. The air con is extremely noisy and we had ants and small flies in our room which we informed reception about. Food - great variety of food in the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner to choose from. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend eating at the Japanese restaurant which was delicious. Pool - beautiful setting where you can either sun bath on the beach or the grass areas by the pool. Plenty of comfortable sun beds to choose from although guests do get up earlier to reserve the ‘prime spots’ despite the hotels policy against this there are no lifeguard on duty to stop this from happening. You can order drinks to your sun beds by using the app which is very useful. Facilities - the on-site gym is quiet but the equipment is extremely old and clunky, treadmills all sound like they need replacing, there was only one bike out of the three which didn’t have a saddle of pedal hanging off. The two weighted machines were again in terrible condition, frayed wires and broken casing. There was a choice of dumbbells and a couple of benches. If working out is important to you like us whilst on holiday, we wouldn’t recommend staying here. The main reception/entertainment area is too small with not enough seating to accommodate all guests to enjoy the live music. You can only use the spa if you purchase a treatment which we did. The treatment was average and definitely not worth the price tag. The steam room smelt like a dirty old football boot which wasn’t pleasant.
