Amazing Ixian Grand

This is our second time coming back to this hotel as we were blown away but its excellence the first time we came! The food is delicious - there is a huge range and themed nights. There is different entertainment every night which is popular. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly, smiley, helpful and speak many languages. The only thing we found disappointing was listening to music in other languages (French, Spanish, Italian) and not Greek! It would be amazing to listen to some Greek music by the pool and have at least one Greek music entertainer for everyone to enjoy.

The stay was really nice, staff were all very friendly and accomodating Had several massages during our stay and would highly recommend them! Yiorta was a very informed lady who gave us all the information we needed about the different massage options, she was always in a good mood and very friendly We took two massages with Michael (both Michael's) and it was a wonderful experience, both were very professional and did excellent jobs! Would highly recommend them On our last night we had facial massages from Eva and Alexandra, both did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier with the experience Overall was an great stay and would recommend this hotel

Relaxing fortnight in the sunshine

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Ixian Grand and can honestly say we had the relaxing holiday we were hoping for! We arrived late, but our check in was handled smoothly, with a welcoming sandwich and wine in our room. We had a deluxe garden room, which had a walk in shower (essential!) and really efficient air conditioning (vital!) The food was varied, and we ate in the a la carte restaurants on 3 evenings. If you are a fan of sushi then Muza Htista is the place for you. Milonges Greek a la carte cuisine was ok, but we found there was too much food on offer! We spent time on the beach (rocky so beach shoes are useful) and by the main pools. You can order drinks to your sunbeds but this seemed almost too decadent for us. We also spent a few days by the quiet pool, with the added bonus of kittens. Evening entertainment consisted of cover bands, plus some classical music/singers too. The violinist was amazing, and Encore got everyone up and singing. A special thank you to Manos at the Trumans Bar, who looked after us so well. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, with good facilities and really welcoming staff-this is the place for you.

The hotel was nice (nothing fancy), the beach setting was lovely and the app was handy ordering drinks from the sun lounger. Do not book your spa treatment directly with spa staff, they charge you a higher price compared to booking on the app. I flagged the price difference and was dismissively told ‘no no’ I got a great deal. Apparently me being offered a ‘gift’ made up for over charging (I never actually received that body oil) overall I wouldn’t return again, as a solo traveler you often had to wait until your meal was finished before you were offered a drink. (Can’t self serve drink)

Very nice and relaxing spa (aegeo) with outstanding services from Eva and Alexandra. The hotel is pure luxury and the service is excellent. The food is very good, the main pool is always clean and the beach is just beautiful.
