Official Description

The Lai Thai Luxury Condominiums is the redevelopment of the Lai Thai Resort which opened in 1996. Owned and operated by the Thai Treasures Co. Ltd (1993), the resort was named “100 Resorts of Thailand-Places with a Heart” by travel writer Lily Yousry-Jouve. The original Lai Thai created a name for itself as the first boutique resort in Ao Nang, with an exotic black tile pool and family oriented service. The new Lai Thai will carry on this personalized service and offer high end facilities to cater to the discerning traveler. The new swimming pool will incorporate a 25 meter lap pool for adults only, along with the main pool and children's pool and hot tub. The pool will be tiled in imported multi-colored glass mosaic tiles creating a rainbow of colors to the eye.

Good location

Room was very clean and plenty of storage space but a bit dated . Good to have a pool but it was very cold . Bar opens at 4 pm . Would be good to have somewhere to buy crisps/nuts etc

Not 4 star 2 half to 3 star good location nice big pool but very tired looking same with the rooms would I come back no better accommodation in AO Nang for same sort of price staff very friendly here

The Lai Thai is located 700 meters to Ao Nang beach front. It is within walking distance to the beach front restaurants, bars and shopping. Luxury residences include Superior (40 sqm.), Deluxe (60 sqm.), Deluxe Family (100 sqm.) and Penthouse (147 sqm.). All our accommodation is self catering, with kitchenettes even in the lead category rooms. This does make our hotel a little bit different from our competition. The facilities include an exotic glass tile mosaic swimming pool with nightly light show, adult only 25 meter lap pool, childrens pool and jacuzzi. Also in the complex is the fitness center, mini-mart and massage. The BB Bistro run by Chef Umberto serves both in house cuisine and take away dishes and the Grape Escape Fine Wine Bar offers fine wines and whiskeys from around the world.
