The Leaf Oceanside by Katathani Resort

My husband & I, my sister and Brother in Law, all stayed here for 10 Days Aug 13th -Aug 23rd 2019. On our arrival, we received an upgrade, which was perfect, and not expected, but very much appreciated. My sister and brother in law, have never been to Thailand, so it was very new experience to them. We swam everyday, as well as walked to the main street, and back. Meals at LOC, stated at 200 Baht, which were excellent value and included Fruit Plate or Ice Cream for dessert. Cocktails were 95 Baht, or Happy Hour 99 BAHT. Beer more expensive, but I don't drink it. But note, in shop next to check in, they sell "LGE Beer for 65 Baht". Great Value, cheaper than the Supermarket. 👍 Which helps you walking up to the Supermarket. Staff where very helpful, even with language barriers. You can always find a mutual agreement on what is required. If you show mutual respect to them, you will receive it in return. It's not hard to require your wishes. We had no trouble at front reception, staff were always smiling and helpful, if required. Greetings on our exit and return, from front desk, as well as the Security Guard, was always well received. I'm very impressed, they supply a washing machine as well as a dryer in the Security Booth. Which you can just pay 50 BAHT per use.👌 We will be back in 2020, with more Family members. We all "Loved our Holiday" at The Leaf Oceanside, we had a very pleasant, and relaxing 10 days. Prior to our 20 days in Phuket, which was full on. Great way to finish off our visit to Thailand. 🙏

Only stayed one night here but when back to Khao Lak I will definitely stay in this hotel again. Typical holiday resort with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious with a a balcony facing the pool or the garden. I stayed in a room facing the garden and didn’t mind at all because it was very quiet and peaceful. The pool can be very crowded. The breakfast it’s amazing with a variety of choices. Love this place.

We enjoyed our stay at The Leaf Oceanside. The property grounds were spacious and well cared for. The two pools were adjacent to each other, with plenty of sun beds. Whilst quite a lot of these were claimed early, the property also scattered quite a few sun beds nearby on the lawns, so everyone could find a place to sit. Breakfast was pretty good, with (limited) bakery, fruit and cereal options, plus a couple of stir fry Thai dishes and eggs. We stayed in a palm villa room which was reasonably spacious and comfortable. There was nothing to watch on TV except news channels. The team were always polite, but I thought they lacked the usual Thai hospitality of warmth and smiles.
