The Mangrove Panwa Phuket Resort

I celebrated my birthday here, and the staff were so kind and sweet, setting up the bed on my arrival and providing a voucher for a complimentary cake. The place was perfect for me as I was looking for somewhere quiet to escape my busy life. The rooms are wonderful and have everything you need. I would definitely come back here and will recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

We checked this place out on our last day the previous year, it looked amazing and we booked it. Absolutely perfect for us, room was amazing and cleaned daily to a good standard, facilities are good with everything we wanted. We had an ocean view villa with jacuzzi outside, it felt like our own little holiday home in paradise.

The hotel is in a very quiet area although it offers regular shuttle busses to Phuket Old Town, the local beach and a 7/11. The beach at the hotel is a mangrove so you aren’t able to swim in it, but you can use free paddle boards and kayaks. The beach and restaurant area is open to the public, however, the hotel itself was very quiet. Although we are here in high season and the hotel is fully booked there seemed to be no one around, it was strange. It definitely lacks some atmosphere. The room is very spacious and clean with a modern feel and very large balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful and there are a few cute cats around 🐈 The pool is private, but not as big as it looked in the pictures, however, it is heated which is nice.

As soon as you walk through the entrance, you’re wrapped in lush tropical greenery, with the sound of birds singing and the sea breeze gently drifting in. It’s peaceful, calm, and absolutely beautiful — the perfect place to unplug from the world and recharge. 🍃🌊 Our room was stunning — spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a warm, relaxing vibe. The bed was heavenly soft (I slept like a baby every night 🛏️). We had a balcony overlooking the garden and sea, and every morning we woke up to birdsong and soft golden sunlight streaming through the trees. It felt like a dream. ✨ The staff here are beyond amazing — warm, cheerful, and genuinely caring. Everyone greeted us with bright smiles, helped us with anything we needed, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their kindness really made our stay special. 💛 The resort offers free kayaks and paddle boards, which was such a fun surprise! We spent a quiet morning paddling along the calm waters, surrounded by nature — absolutely magical 🚣‍♀️ In the evenings, we relaxed on the swing by the water, watching the sun melt into the horizon… pure bliss 🌅 There’s also a super cute café on site, Grove Phuket, which became our favorite spot for afternoon coffee and desserts. Every corner is Instagram-worthy 📸 and the atmosphere is just perfect for chilling.
