Outstanding on every level!

We have just returned from a wonderful two weeks at The Olivar Suites. Having read the reviews I really thought it couldn't be as amazing as everyone had said...but it is. The setting is unreal, the suites are immaculate and spacious and the staff absolutely outstanding. We have already booked to return next year! Having been on many family summer beach holidays - nothing comes close to The Olivar Suites. The food is healthy and delicious and despite the hotel being full it was incredibly quiet, never an issue on the beach with beds or around the gorgeous pool. The management and reception team helped with all sorts of advice and it meant we had the most easy and relaxing holiday ever. Cannot wait to return.

We had a junior suite with small garden and pool which was luxurious. The beach sunbeds were a treat - with beach towels and water provided. Excellent service to the sunbeds as well for drinks and snacks. All facilities - main pool, restaurants and bar were superb. All staff from housekeeping to waiting and pool/beach staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved this place - we’ll be back!

Wonderful service and hotel

From the moment I arrived I was greeted as I was an old friend. The staff on check in were excellent. I was then taken on the golf buggy for a tour of the hotel and showed where everything was. All of the staff are wonderfully warm, housekeeping, maintenance, bar and restaurant staff can’t do enough for you. The staff really make this hotel. They are what makes it and probably why people return. It’s a great location, food was excellent, plenty of breakfast options and great quality. I’m thinking when do I return.

A beautiful hotel, just not quite our vibe

We booked a majestic suite directly with the hotel almost a year in advance. We went with an upgraded room (more than we would normally pay for a holiday) as we were celebrating a 40th birthday. We specifically asked for a quiet room as we are active people and early risers to run before the heat of the day. On arrival we were shown to our room which backed directly onto a road with a couple of late opening bars. We asked immediately if there was a majestic suite in a quieter location but unfortunately all of these particular room type were here. We agreed to give it a try. The bar was extremely noisy until around 1am and sleep very severely impacted. We went to reception to following day to ask to be moved to a room further into the resort away from the road but unfortunately the hotel was almost full. We were offered a paid upgrade (€180/night) to a beachfront room but we had already paid so much for our week here we really couldn’t afford any more. We asked if we could downgrade to a lower spec room in a quieter location (as we could see there was one room available) but were told this wasn’t in their policy. We spent another night in the room, this time with earplugs. The following day an executive suite further into the complex became available so we were moved there. We were given a bottle of wine and a fruit plate which was a nice touch. Later that evening it became clear that the second room backed onto another hotels entertainment but at least this ended at around 10.30pm - much better than 1am! To be clear- this hotel is beautiful. The rooms and pools all an incredibly high standard. Service at breakfast was fine but a little unfriendly at times. We found some staff a little standoffish but maybe that’s the vibe they are going for with this resort? The gym is very small and the yoga class carried out behind the car park so wellness really feels like an afterthought. We didn’t eat in the hotel other than breakfast so can’t comment on the food. There are plenty of good eating places within a few minutes work- out particular favourites were Bo the Butcher and Korali snack bar which serves the best souvlaki I’ve ever eaten. My suggestion to Olivar Suites would be if a customer books with you requesting a quiet room and they have booked a majestic suite that perhaps you could make contact with them to alert that these rooms are some of the noisiest in your hotel? We had high hopes for this trip and sadly wouldn’t return.

Stunning and perfect!!!

Unbelievable stay at Olivar Suites! We loved every second! From beginning to end this hotel hits every mark. It was our first stay and it truly felt like being at home. It’s safe, walkable, gorgeous and spotless. The free breakfast in the morning is so nice as well. The beach and beach bar are just gorgeous. I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes. Service is very fast and attentive as well. These people bend over backwards to take care of you. I also celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday there and they were so lovely and communicative with me in helping me plan everything well in advance. I am so thankful for our stay here. My only small compliant was the about of children. It can get quite loud with children running and playing and crying when cranky, but this has nothing to do with the hotel. If that isn’t your vibe, I would be super mindful of that and book elsewhere so it doesn’t ruin your vacation. Besides that, we were crying to leave. We did not want to go and absolutely will come back in the future. Great restaurants to walk around at night too. Our favorite was Romeo’s! Absolutely great spa and service there as well!!
