Perfect place to relax

Second visit to Olivar Suites with a friend and I’m quite sure that we will return again . The staff are all very friendly and helpful, every part of the hotel is spotless and well maintained. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and unwind then this is the place to go . Breakfast is excellent and lots of great tavernas nearby .

Mixed feelings

Mixed feelings about the Olivar suites following a 10 night stay in May with adult family. Overall the property is well run; staff are attentive at all times & all areas are kept clean. The quality of my suite, which had a private pool with spacious outdoor area, was excellent; bathroom amenities were restocked daily along with complementary water & tea/coffee. I stayed on a b&b basis as there are numerous tavernas nearby. Again, the offering was of a high standard - although my breakfast order from the menu wasn't precisely as requested on several occasions. Entertainment at the hotel & nearby was rather low key with a trio of the same musicians performing several times throughout my stay. There really isn't anything else going on in the evening. A couple of negatives relating to the pool area: the lack of a handrail made getting in/out difficult; and the loungers positioned on the wet grass exposed a number of muddy patches - photos attached.

Second Times the Charm

This is my second time staying at the Olivar with my husband and it was even better than I remembered. We arrived at the hotel early and while our room wasn’t ready we were able to use all amenities the hotel offers - the gym, spa, beach etc. Check in / out is a seamless process and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate any request. The beach offers sun beds, an umbrella, towels and beach service that is summoned by the press of a button on the umbrella stand. We booked a two bathroom suite with a private plunge pool and I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s spacious, clean and modern with a private plunge pool that combines the effortless luxury of the hotel with the ambience of Messonghi - it’s simply perfect. Housekeeping is incredible and thoroughly cleans the room everyday as well as during turn down service. Robes and slippers are provided. This hotel is conveniently located on a street that is walkable to shops, restaurants and excursions if you’re looking to do water sports, rent a boat etc. Their breakfast is wonderful. A buffet and a la carte menu so there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone. I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The olivar has perfected the art of quiet luxury. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful short week with wonderful staff

Wonderful hotel! Food and staff were so welcoming and kind. The surrounding restaurants (Kostas and Bacchus especially) were delightful, delicious and friendly. We can’t recommend this hotel enough. The only issue was a minor one, one of the usb plugs beside our hotel bed wasn’t working. but they came and fixed it immediately. The weather was lovely and we had no complaints at all. Thank you to Maria (Russian teacher) and ALL Olivar staff, for making my family feel so comfortable. We will miss you all. Bonus: Whilst there isn’t as much to do in the Messonghi area, that wasn’t an issue for us as we spent our time on the beach, jet skiing and having fun. We also went into Corfu Old Town, which was nice.
