Wonderfully decorated, this hotel is ideally located in Tuban. The resort is conveniently situated just a 5 minutes' drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport and a 20 minute drive from the capital city of Denpasar where guests can explore the cultural and historic attractions, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues the city has to offer. Fabulous hotel, huge suites, beautiful wood detail in the rooms, super comfortable beds all for very reasonable prices and best of all, this hotel comes with a top team. I have stayed at Patra now 4 times and will stay this current trip for over a month. I travel the world and know the best hotels. my thanks to the management team to have such a extraordinary, kind, friendly and helpful team. Widiasih from the front desk is a superstar.She knows the hotel inside and out and i am most thankful to her. The best staff, The breakfast team, the resturant team, the housekeeping team and the amazing beach location makes this a perfect place to call home away from home. highly reccomend.

Horrible smell of mold and mildew in “village”.

Room smelled of horrible mold and mildew! This is like an American tour bus in Indonesia. There is not much that is authentically Indonesian here. Front desk staff are NOT friendly. “Villas” are just odd and a little creepy. So many great places to stay in Indonesia but this is not one of them. Would never stay again!

The Patra was, simply, a disappointment. We chose it for a one night layover on our way back from Sulawesi and had we planned to stay longer I would've moved. Our check in was disorganized and lengthy, we had reserved four rooms on Booking.com, and because we hadn't specified the name of each person in the room they had prepared the rooms for one person only, even the family rooms specifically chosen to sleep 4 or more. Two of the rooms were not even listed on their computer and I had to show them the confirmation emails to have a room assigned. Of the four rooms, two were located on one side of the complex, which is large and varied, and two were in the nicer side. All rooms had outdated and worn furniture. Rooms were not especially clean, with hairs and small bits of paper and lint, and the rooms in the 100 complex were simply gross, with slow, stinky drains and stains as well as musty AC units that smelled of mold. Loud barking dogs also were constant in the 100 building. The pools were beautiful however, with nice balinese touches and plenty of seating. There are three pools - an adult, a main pool with swim up bar, and a shallower kids pool. The beach was dirty and murky. Breakfast had plenty of choices, but none of it really of good quality or taste. Bottom line - not worth spending any bali holiday time in.

A magnificent 60th celebration shared with friends

This is my favourite resort in Bali with its unique and traditional Balinese architecture. It’s the ideal resort for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. The quiet beachfront location is perfectly nestled amongst beautiful grounds and gardens with magnificent pools, great restaurants, themed buffet nights, excellent breakfasts and beautiful staff. On this occasion, we celebrated my 60th with 30 friends..everyone stayed a few days at The Patra and fell in love with it 😍 My deepest appreciation and gratitude to the management & staff for hosting and organising an unforgettable evening. Set up in a private poolside area with gorgeous table seating, lighting, decorations, band, BBQ buffet, attentive and fantastic staff, private bar and everything we needed to ensure a magical night. It is pure joy to return year after year!

5 night stay with a group of 30

Located a short distance from the airport but right on your private beach, the Patra was a lovely surprise with beautiful grounds and great service. Multiple pools meant that we could have our own quiet space by the poolside. We were made to feel very welcome and staff were excellent. We celebrated a friends birthday and the staff organised a beautiful party. I stayed with four single friends in an embassy suite but these rooms were dated and the room below was a bit dark and smelly. But the beds and pillows were super comfortable . In comparison my friends stayed in the beach front villas which were beautiful. Whilst the grounds in the patra were clean, the beach in front had a lot of rubbish on it. As the patra is the only resort in that part of the beach it looked dirty and uninviting. The patra staff should work on keeping this nice little beach clean at all times. Overall we had a lovely time and I would return to the patra after a flight to stay for a night or two to wind down before travelling on. Despite the close location to the airport we were not disturbed by plane noise at all.
