The hotel is located behind a rustic Balinese village, where all aspects of traditional rural life can be experienced. It is situated within a short walk of the centre of Ubud that leads guests through the beautiful surrounding rice paddy fields. The Ubud area is the cultural and spiritual heart of Bali. Ubud Market and the Monkey Forest are both roughly 2 km from the hotel, Ubud Palace is around 3 km away and the Ayung River is approximately 5 km away. The hotel is conveniently located only around one hour and 15 minutes' drive from Denpasar International Airport. This resort, offering only 7 private villas, is a perfect place for those looking for peace and tranquillity. Worth the cost

My friend had stayed here previously and loved it. So we came again and rarely venture out in 10 days, as it was so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff were beautiful and made us very welcome and were very to have my friend return. Treated us like family

Lovely stay at a lovely location

The stay at Purist Villas and Spa was superb in every aspect. The rooms were clean, and well looked after. The location itself was located off a little street in Ubud, a good location to access Central Ubud Market amongst other places. Easy to call grab there, and the hotel staff was also kind enough to accommodate and entertain our requests. Speaking of which, enough cannot be said about the staff. They were exemplary in their care, and made our stay memorable. All of them! The pool is very nice, right by the restaurant surrounded by a lush green backdrop. The food was excellent, however one thing to note is that they have only vegetarian and seafood options - so do consider that. All in all, a great experience. 10/10 would recommend if you want to stay in Ubud. Did not use the spa service, but judging by everything else, I am sure they are top quality in their treatments, of which there are many. Would only recommend that some extra items be added to the menu, as it could be that people are allergic to seafood!
