I suspect this hotel was once first class, but clearly needs attention now. We had a 10hr stopover in Bali and needed a room near the airport (for rest/sleep) before catching our next flight back to Australia. The airport pickup was provided by the hotel - all good - but they forgot about us for the evening booking. The Grab driver was much cheaper anyway. Our room/bed was clean & comfortable, however... the electrical plugs didn't work (couldn't boil the jug), the bathmat was grubby, the tea/coffee sachets were out of date, and no spare toilet roll. There was nothing in our room about the hotel or the surrounding area - we had to Google everything. The pool was clean & refreshing. The restaraunt was shut for renovations (but not stated on the website). Air-con was great. Staff were friendly & helpful. We walked for 15mins to Kuta Beach... most unimpressive (our beaches in Oz are 100x better!). Had lunch at the lovely Sands restaraunt attached to Anvya Beach Resort.
