Great Experience at Zel.

My husband and I had an unforgettable trip to Punta Cana thanks to Zel and their amazing staff! The staff truly made a difference in our experience- I especially want to thank Alexis for ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay and also Baby-A (not sure how to spell), Yohanna, Jose, and others for creating a welcoming experience for us. We enjoyed our room, the hotel restaurants and the pools. I would definitely come back to Zel. Thanks for a great vacation!

Zel Punta Cana - An Excellent Staff and Experience in DR

The Zel Punta Cana is an ideal resort for a vacation, get away or retreat to study, write or plan. Its staff is its greatest asset. My wife and I remain impressed by the gracious courteous, helpful, respectful and professional persons whom we met and who served us. From our arrival to departure, they were attentive consistently.

I will be not the first or last person to say that the hotel was absolutely stunning. The attention to the guest was spectacular. Priscilla was the best at doing all the fun activities with us. My only issues I ever ran into was with the food and restaurants. It was quite bland and really the only way to get anything not bland was by asking for it to be flavorful. The portions they give at the restaurants are absolutely ridiculous, despite it being all inclusive while yes you can order whatever you want the service is extremely slow meaning you wait quite a while in between dishes if you choose to order more. Also in Nokyo both times we made reservations we were always told that they were never made yet we went up to the hostess in Nokyo and made the reservations there. I also think it is a bit strange how they want you to do everything via your concierge or butler, not really sure what it is. The beach was not the greatest, but we did go during peak seaweed season so that is out of the hotels control. The drinks also felt a little watered down, because when it usually takes a few shots to feel something there it took quite a vast amount to feel an ounce of something. Another great thing however was whenever you had an issue and you voiced it they were very quick to fix it and it was amazing. The first night we went there was no nightlife and we said something and bam the next day there was always something to do at night usually till around 2am inside the hotel. In all honesty I do recommend this hotel as it is super beautiful and the attention to detail is there. I just hope they work on their food as a whole.

Incredible Family Stay – Amazing Staff & Concierge!

We just returned from an unforgettable 8 day stay at the Zel property with my wife and our three daughters, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, our concierge Ericson Mejia made us feel completely at home. He was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. Ericson even pulled off several last-minute dinner reservations at the resort’s restaurants — he truly went above and beyond and made our visit seamless. The staff across the property were simply outstanding — friendly, hardworking, and genuinely eager to assist. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with smiles and hospitality that made us feel valued and cared for. The food was very good overall. Our favorite spot was the hibachi grill, which offered perfectly cooked rice, vegetables, steak, chicken, and shrimp. The buffet had a wide selection and was especially strong at breakfast. A couple of small suggestions: the juices and milk could be served colder in the mornings, and the buffet area could benefit from better air conditioning, as it was quite warm at times. We also enjoyed Tacorini, though we felt it could benefit from a clearer split between traditional Tex-Mex and Mediterranean dishes to better highlight both cuisines. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — a perfect retreat after long days enjoying the resort. All in all, this was a wonderful property with incredible people. Highly recommended for families or couples looking to unwind and be treated like royalty. We’re already talking about when we can come back!
