Very disappointed with the maintenance of the Villa and the restaurant , not properly cleaned in the the bathroom and all the soap and bath dispensers are very dirty

Disappointed Experience at Sankara Resort & Spa

Our experience at The Sankara Resort and Spa was unfortunately the worst of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip to Bali. The most frustrating issue was the water — it barely worked throughout our three-night stay. We had to call the front desk multiple times just to get it turned on, and even then, the water pressure was extremely low. A few incidence, we had to use bottled water from the room just to wash ourselves. The spa was also underwhelming. The massage lacked pressure and didn’t feel therapeutic at all, and the water wasn’t working properly there either, which added to the discomfort. Another major issue was the noise. The walls are very thin, so we could hear constant banging from nearby construction and loud music in the evenings, which made it difficult to rest. We’ve never experienced a hotel where water access was this unreliable — it was a major letdown. We wouldn’t recommend this resort based on our experience.

The resort is luxuriously outfitted with a 8000sqm infinity pool protrudes from the lobby. This resort’s centre piece is skirted by palm trees and an arched wooden sundeck inviting you to lay back and ease off on one of the pool chair and let the cool breeze drifts you away. The Sankara Resort is only 90 minutes away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport and about 15 minutes easy drive to the world-known Ubud centre. Encompassing a collection of 30 Balinese styled rooms and villas, the resort is nothing but a peaceful retreat where any soul will immerse in a total relaxation. Enjoy your new home far from "HOME"
