Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend! We booked this hotel for a family of 4, expecting a proper family room. Instead, we were given a room with just ONE double bed and were expected to all sleep in it! When we complained, we were told the hotel was fully booked and that no other rooms were available. They even tried to charge us extra for adding a single bed, despite us already paying for a family room. After a long argument and repeated calls to management, they finally “found” a room with two double beds, which we accepted – but the whole experience left a bad taste from the start. Housekeeping was just as bad. Cleaners came daily, but towels were never replaced, and bins were left overflowing. When I complained, reception apologised for the bins but told me we were “only entitled to 3 towels” because my youngest child “wasn’t on their system”! The attitude of the bar staff was shocking – we came back from a late excursion with a takeaway, asked for a fork, and were told we had to PAY for it because we didn’t buy food from the hotel. I even bought a bottle of water from a shop and asked for some ice – again, they wanted to charge me! It honestly felt like the bar staff had their own side hustle, trying to charge guests for every little thing. The room didn’t even have complimentary water, the safe didn’t work, and the onsite shops were closed for our entire stay. Breakfast was awful – cold and inedible – so we ended up eating out every day. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment: poor service, hidden charges for basic things, terrible housekeeping, and facilities that simply didn’t work. Definitely would NOT stay here again!
