The SoCo Hotel

Family of 7 we had 4 rooms over the hotel which wasn’t a problem as it’s a small hotel. We found the food good, not a buffet but table service which was nice. The bar was great also. Found all staff to be super helpful and friendly. Location was excellent ; we walked to Hastings beach, Worthing beach and Carlisle beach from the hotel. Lots of food venues within walking distance which was also handy. I would say we found there aren’t enough sunbeds around the pool and annoyingly people put their towels down super early and then don’t sit on them for a long while. All in all a great time was had by all :)

We spent five wonderful nights at The SoCo in April. The highlights of our trip were the kind, accommodating, and FUN staff, relaxing often on our private balcony with the most breathtaking view of the ocean, delicious food and drink, and snorkeling along the jetty and breakfront at the beach. Seriously - bring a mask and snorkel. We were close enough to take short cab rides to other destinations or walk along the beautiful boardwalk to other nightlife. We both wish we elected to stay longer. As others mentioned, the car horns are loud, but you don’t hear them when you are at the beach, restaurant, or pool. Horn culture is just different than in the States. Also, I love a hot shower, but that’s was not to be had, which was fine as the weather was beautifully warm. The property could use some maintenance, but our room was clean, cool (air conditioning worked super well), and comfortable. The outside areas facing the ocean are beautiful as is the restaurant/bar area. The food was great. The portions were perfect for me and while my partner has a larger appetite, they were always willing to accommodate. Also, I’m a vegetarian and only one meal they didn’t have an option for me, but allowed me to build a meal of anything I wanted from the menu or had in the kitchen. Again, we wish we had the ability to stay longer! Michelle, Darren, Zack, Shereen, and Tobey were just some of the wonderful employees we met there.

A truly relaxing stay – with the best team in Barbados! We’ve just returned from the most fabulous stay at The SoCo Hotel in Barbados. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at home. Special shoutouts to Chaquila, Michelle, Clive, Trudy, Dwain, and Shane – all absolute stars – but honestly, every single person we met went above and beyond. You can tell the team genuinely cares and takes pride in what they do. The all-inclusive concept here is a cut above. You get a proper restaurant experience – not a buffet or canteen vibe – which makes it feel far more relaxing and personal. And here’s a pro tip: don’t be shy about mixing and matching dishes. If you want the fish from one meal and the potato from another, just ask! They’re more than happy to make it work for you. Also, a quick mention for little Toby, the hotel cat. He’s a legend – keeping the place free of unwanted visitors and doing a brilliant job. Be kind to him, he’s part of the team too. We’ll definitely be back.

It was our first time experiencing a boutique hotel, so we were hesitant at first, but we have no regrets. The service was amazing, and the food was amazing. Shaniqua at the front desk went above and beyond for my whole party of 8, the bartenders were very welcoming and informative. the only downfall is they can use some upgrading/remodeling.

Michelle’s rum tasting was more like a wonderful island history lesson incorporated into a lovely Bajan snacks. Very informative & entertainingLovely staff & stay. Great location and views. Very attentive staff. Room stayed extra clean, thanks Trudy!! Michelle & Zach were super friendly & helpful.
