The St. Regis Bali Resort

Wow... where do I even start? I've been to many 5 star hotels (and some who think are 5 stars lol) but the St Regis Bali exceeded all expectations. The butler service was amazing. They were very attentive and helpful at all times. We stayed at the garden villa with a private pool and it was amazing. We used most of the facilities and everything was fantastic: beach bar, swimming pools, restaurants, spa... I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back.

We had the most incredible stay at The St. Regis Bali Resort to celebrate our son’s birthday, and it truly exceeded every expectation. This was our first time staying here as a family with young children, and we’re already dreaming about when we can return. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, care, and attention to detail were second to none. Every single staff member made us feel so welcome and cared for – especially our two little ones, who were treated like royalty! A few special mentions: • Suyasa made breakfast an absolute dream every morning. Our son has strict dietary needs, and these were accommodated with such thoughtfulness. Even our infant daughter had fresh purées made just for her. It made a world of difference for us as parents and allowed us to really relax. • Sugie, our butler, was phenomenal. Always one step ahead, checking in regularly, and handling every request (big or small) with such grace and genuine kindness. • Teddy from Concierge was amazing. He helped plan our entire stay in advance and patiently accommodated every request we had. Thanks to him, our whole trip flowed smoothly and stress-free. • A special thank you to the gentleman who plays music in the foyer. Every time we passed, he greeted us with a beautiful smile, a flower, and sweet music. Our kids absolutely adored him, such a calming, kind presence. While these individuals stood out, we were blown away by how exceptional the entire team was, from housekeeping to buggy drivers, the beach crew, servers, and everyone behind the scenes. Every staff member seemed to know our schedule and preferences and genuinely cared about our experience. The breakfast spread was outstanding, from premium à la carte offerings (lobster omelets!) to an abundant buffet. Truly one of the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. Our suite was stunning, and the grounds are paradise - lush, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The private beach was pristine, the lagoon and sand pools perfect for little ones, and our kids loved feeding the fish by the pool each day. Evenings were just as magical, the fire dance performance and champagne sabering ritual were amazing touches that made every night feel special. Every restaurant we tried was excellent, but Kayuputi stood out. We had the best Picanha steak of our lives there - absolutely unforgettable. Even the airport transfers were next-level luxurious, with the team helping us through check-in and handling our bags with care. In short this is not just a resort, it’s an experience. A place where luxury meets heart. We left feeling completely recharged and so grateful for every moment. Ramón and Amaya are still talking about it! We stayed 7 nights. We experienced everything from a 1 star resort to a 5 star resort. THE UGLY - They spray pesticides 3 days a week. I was under the impression that the resort would be one that focuses on health and wellbeing. Not the case. We figured out they sprayed pesticides after both our kids woke up with puffy eyes and runny noses. We knew something was off. Sure enough we found the culprit was spraying. Our kids couldn't handle the chemicals they used. - Black mold. They use indoor furniture for outside seating. We were laying our 3 month old on it for naps and when the cover came off the padding it was covered in black mold. So our 3 month old was taking naps laying face down on black mold. THE BAD - The ocean and beach have a lot of trash. very dirty. I stepped on a FISHING HOOK. luckily it wasn't my kid. - Also the ocean floor is not sandy and unsuitable for walking in. you're always stepping on coral. - The beach also drops off significantly from where the lounge chairs are to the water. We could not see our kids playing near the water or swimming. Its not a good beach for walking/running as its sloped to severely. I thought it woulda been a nice walk out into the water. not the case. - The neighboring property is a vacant lot filled with trash and as it gets windy the trash is always finding its way onto the st regis property. They also burn the trash and you can smell it. There are also local folks who build these windmills and use them right next door. They are loud and you hear them all day and night. - The gym was very small and if more than 2 people working out it felt crowded. Terrible cardio equipment. They dont even have an appropriate stationary bike. - Kids club is small and outdated With all these things I feel like im being extremely generous and fair in a 3 star review. THE GOOD - the staff is nice! Especially the younger people working. It seems like everyone knows your name and is so thankful and happy to be working there. The older staff /management seem to be more business and not as friendly and don't smile as much as the younger folks do. I wish I could remember all the names of the people that we were so thankful to have met. WInho and Sudana were terrific. - the saltwater lagoon was a hit. great kids pool. - Breakfast was good. Good juices and fruit. great service. - They even offer police escort through to the destination of your choice. Traffic can get very bad making so this makes travel times decrease significantly especially when traveling to Ubud or doing any excursions.

Amazing stay at the St. Regis Bali. We enjoyed the pools, beach, restaurants and afternoon tea. But what makes it special and truly memorable is the top notch service, from our butlers Wawan and Julian and waiter Ebert. Very grateful,

I stayed at the St. Regis Bali in Summer 2024 and had a truly wonderful experience. The resort is large and beautifully laid out, offering a sense of grandeur while still feeling peaceful and personal. Despite its size, everything is thoughtfully organized and easy to navigate, which made the stay smooth and relaxing. What stood out most was the exceptional staff. Everyone I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The concierge service, in particular, was outstanding, just as excellent as I’ve come to expect from St. Regis. They are incredibly responsive and take care of every detail with care and precision, which made a real difference throughout my stay. I also appreciated the small but thoughtful touches, like the complimentary in-room coffee service and the free daily ironing of two clothing items. These services may seem minor, but they add a lot of comfort and convenience. My room was very spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of high-quality options to suit every taste. The pool area and beach were absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and never felt crowded. It was easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings, whether by the water or strolling the grounds. Overall, I had a fantastic stay in Summer 2024 and would not hesitate to return.
