The Woods Natural Park Resort Phuket

Very beautiful hotel with an amazing view from the balcony. Very quite area far from the crowed. If you have car or bike will be fine for you or you can use shuttle bus which is going to the beach and back every few hours. Room service was brilliant. WiFi is working perfect. I would recommend this hotel definitely 👌🏼

This hotel is located in a secluded area. A walk to the nearest restaurant or convenient store involves a 20-minute with a steep uphill walk. The hotel provides 4 daily shuttle runs. The problems are: no spa or on-site restaurant, fitness room with old/ rusty equipment, and a tiny swimming pool. I booked the room with breakfast. It turned out that I had to go to another hotel (Citygate Hotel) for that, and the breakfast was marginal at best. I asked a male night attendant for extra hangers on the first night, but I never saw any extra hangers during my 3-night stay. In short, the idea was good but the execution was flawed. A secluded retreat needs to have various on site facilities (such as spa, gym and restaurant) , so guests don't have to go out for food and entertainment.

The location is ideal if you want to be in a secluded area but still close enough to get around. great value for money. Good size room (I got the grand deluxe) and even came with a kitchenette complete with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster & kettle. Room had great lighting and was very clean. Bed was perfect. The staff were amazing too - very helpful - gave me tips on where to rent a bike etc. The ultimate test was when I lost my phone whilst out travelling. The front desk helped me trace it and spoke to the local who had found it (smashed on the road - fell out of my pocket while on the bike). I did get my phone back within the hour. Facilities - Salt water pool - not big but nicely set with great views of the facing mountainside. Perhaps it was really quiet when I was there but the plants around the pool were full of butterflies. Spent a good deal of time floating in the water watching them. Gym was well equipped and had everything I needed. Tips - rent a bike but you'd need to be an experienced rider as the roads can be pretty steep (including the bit leading up to the resort).

this was the perfect place for me! In fact I have extended my stay. So simple, clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for your self. The shuttle is extremely convenient. The staff a very kind and accomidating at the hotel and the cafe. The pool is lovely and hasnt been busy.
