The Yubi Boutique Villas - Seminyak

I am so grateful to the staff for the experience I had while staying at Yubi for 4 days. It was my first solo trip to Bali, and I could not have chosen a better place to stay. This location is prime in Seminyak, everything was safe and walkable. The villa is spacious, clean, quiet, safe, and just as pictured. But mostly I felt so welcomed and supported by the staff, especially Yuda who is so friendly and helped me get around and arrange my excursions and adventures, which isn't as easy for a solo traveler. It was as though I was the only person staying here, everyone knew my name upon passing and conversation, and the place was fully booked. Staying at Yubi was my first impression of Bali, and I'm forever grateful. It will always be a meaningful and memorable experience as a result.

There is repair work being done in the front of this property but don’t be put off. The villas to the rear are still excellent and the price was very reasonable. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and the bed is very comfortable. Our bathroom was massive with a large bath, a shower and double vanity. It was also well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryers. The private outdoor pool and walled garden was an amazing retreat from the crowds. It had covered day bed and a pair of wooden sun loungers. The service was exceptional. All the staff (and especially Yuda the manager), did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. A strong recommend. On a side note take your bug spray as Bali has a lot of greenery and therefore mosquitos.

Forgive the building work fronting the Main Street - don’t be put off. The villas to the rear are still excellent and the price was very reasonable. The bedrooms are big, clean and comfortable and the bathroom features a large bath, a shower and double vanity. Some might find the decor a little bit dated but we thought they were more than acceptable for the price. Top tip: if your pillows feel a bit large (ours were massive!) just ask Yuda for some smaller ones and they’ll be provided! Our private outdoor pool and walled garden was a great size too with both a covered day bed and a pair of wooden sun loungers provided. The frangipani trees were beautiful to sit under. Service is super friendly and helpful. Yuda, Gusti and the team really go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. From the wait staff, the cleaners to the women providing in-Villa Balinese massages, everyone is friendly and attentive. Pick-ups from the airport are offered and considered help and advice was always on hand. The breakfasts were simple but tasty while plenty of really good bars and restaurants were nearby for other meals. Biku over the road is really popular for afternoon tea while Bambu down the road was great for upmarket dinners. Plenty of pharmacies, Mini Marts and Circle K’s are nearby too as well as alternatives to the in-Villa massage service. One night the noise from a local night club could be heard pretty loudly but this just happened the single night and we stayed over a busy weekend when some international DJs were performing at nearby Potato Head so it wasn’t a major issue for us but perhaps something to bear in mind if you’re a really light sleeper. Considering the villa’s location at the heart of Seminyak we didn’t mind. All in all, if we were looking to stay in Seminyak again, we’d be happy to stay here again. As much for the exemplary service as for the villas themselves.
