Tijili Hotel Benoa

I had a pleasant stay at Tijili Benoa. The hotel is comfortable and the atmosphere is relaxing. Special thanks to Resa who was very friendly and welcoming during my stay. I really appreciate the warm service. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would be happy to stay here again

We booked this hotel for one specific reason, the beach. We wanted to sit by the ocean, have drinks, eat dinner with a view, and enjoy the peace. Instead, we paid to be an uninvited, ignored spectator at a massive staff party. The beach restaurant and bar were completely closed to guests because the staff had taken them over for their own private event. No cocktails, no seaside dinner, no access. Calling it "noisy" is an understatement. The bass and screaming was so bad. It’s hard to relax when it sounds like a nightclub is being operated by the hotel staff.  There was not a single mention of this when booking, in the booking confirmation, or even at the front desk during check-in. They took our money, handed us the keys, and conveniently forgot to mention that half of the amenities we paid for were "Staff Only" for the duration of our stay. Bottom line, if you want to pay for the privilege of watching a hotel staff ignore you while they party on your dime, this is the place for you. If you actually want a beach vacation, go literally anywhere else. A total shambles and a waste of money.

On our journey through Bali for a month, we returned to the Tiliji Benoa Hotel to spend the last 7 days before the trip because we feel at home here. Very kind and friendly staff create that atmosphere of belonging and that everything is easy to solve. I was especially helped by Ayin and Yona, those smiling and warm girls who gave me support with advice and solutions when my daughter was lying sick in the hotel. I can rely on them for any organization and I thank them for their suggestions. Otherwise, the hotel has a very nice exterior and 3 swimming pools (in front of , kids pool and roof top). The hotel has a nice beach with a quiet coast where you can swim in the ocean without fear of waves. There is quite a large offer of Water Sports😍. The restaurant on the beach has a variety of food and very pleasant music in the evenings. The best thing for me is the sunset at the pool on the top floor. Otherwise, the hotel is in an excellent location ,because it's on the main street of Benoa, where you have plenty of shops,groceries, pharmacies, exchange offices, restaurants with various national cuisines, motorbike rental... The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is mostly Asian and less Europian /American . That would be my suggestion to them to expand and supplement breakfast with hams, bacon ,cheeses ,spreads and cereal flakes. The hotel has various attractions such as: on Fridays- a movie theater on the beach or in the garden and morning yoga by the pool, and kids playgruond on 3rd floor. If you have any requests of your own, they can organize them for you because they are very cooperative and meet all your wishes. I will come back to this hotel again when I come on my next vacation.

I would not recommend this hotel for Australian tourists. 90+ per cent of the guests were Asians, and the food catered for Asians. The hotel had not one iota of a Balinese theme............ The tiny room balcony was dangerous, especially for the elderly. It had a railing less than one metre high. I am 6' 4' in height, and I felt in danger when I ventured out onto the balcony.......... The beachside of the hotel is okay, but the roadside is terrible. It had neglected, broken, and dirty narrow footpaths. My wife and I found two restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. One was definitely not for tourists, and the other was not up to the standard we'd expect.
