Toby's Resort

This was my husband and me first time staying at Toby's Resort in Montego Bay. Our experience was a great one, we were extremely pleased with the service. We checked in on Sunday 3/1/2026 and was met by a super pleasant associate by the name of Tradeshia (I am sorry if I spelt your name incorrectly.) Dealing with her gave us a relaxed and welcoming feeling. She was very helpful, pleasant and polite. The 2 managers that we communicated with were Exceptional! Allicin and Charlene caused us to say "Yes"to returning to Toby's ☺️🥰. Thank you ladies for your help in making our visit a wonderful visit. We went to their restaurant everyday we were there and met the absolute Best server! His name is Worrel. We LOVE! Worrel. He served us Sunday straight through to Wednesday, but he was off on our last day. He is Amazing! Extremely professional, kind and attentive. Oh my goodness, what excellent service he gave. We plan on returning in July and hope to see all of the Wonderful employees that we encountered on this our first visit. We are Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton members, so we were wondering how is this place going to be. Well, they did not disappoint. The room was clean, they supplied everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and the hotel is a safe place to stay. I agree that the furniture in the room needs to be upgraded, but if that's my only complaint, then I have no reason to complain. Our housekeeper Juliet provided us with excellent service. Our room was cleaned every day. Need a place to stay? Please consider Toby's Resort, it is clean and safe. If you are like us, staying in certain hotels is not our cup of tea. But! Toby's did not disappoint. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll be back.

Great stay in Montego Bay. Very easy to get to from the airport. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, beaches but quiet at night. AC was cold and hot water was hot. We stayed in a few different areas and hotels on our trip, and Toby's had the most comfortable beds of any hotel we stayed in Jamaica.

Toby's is a solid 3-star property. That's not a bad thing, especially at this price point. I stayed at Toby's on my last night in Jamaica so that I could be close to the airport. The property is located right at the end of the Hip Strip only about a mile from MBJ (you can actually walk there) and 3 minutes from Doctor's Cave Beach. My room was spacious, clean, and reasonably renovated. The bed was comfortable, the grounds were well maintained, and the property was secured. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and good water pressure. If you're driving, they offer free on-site parking, although the lot is small and precarious to navigate when it's full. I ate dinner at the restaurant. The aesthetic can use some help, but the food was tasty and the staff was super-friendly. Toby's is as-advertised and I'd definitely stay there again. Oh - a "pro tip": there are curtains on the main windows (not in the bathroom, though) but it's pretty bright in the morning. So, if light disrupts your sleep, I'd bring a sleep mask.

Trustworthy staff, delicious food, great rooms and clean! The pool is a hit, too! Oh, and your bartender is a great DJ - hi Mike!

Natasha freckleton one of the housekeeper is extremely rude and aggressive. She tried to intimidate me after she left a dirty washtowel in my room, She has 0 customer service skills and is a liability to Toby’s inn resort.
