Tropical Beach Hotel

Location was excellent. Nice quiet end of the beach front, yet close enough to walk into the nightlife. Atmosphere was a nice chilled vibe, staff were excellent and friendly. There was always availability for a sunbed (no getting up at 6am to reserve beds) or you could get a bed on the beach, beds were super comfy. As it a smallish hotel, you got to know people around the pool. Rooms were excellent with towels and bed linen changed daily. Air conditioning was good, though sometimes too cold, but you could change that easily enough on the display on the wall. The food was excellent, always something available A good varied choice. Good choice of drinks throught the day and evening, though no malibu on the all inclusive, Would be nice to include that. You can buy it though. Staff were friendly enough, Thomas was excellent (one of the managers) Some of the staff had limited English but they seemed to understand what you wanted. Great value for money. Had entertainment on most evenings, stayed around the hotel most night as the atmosphere was great. Booked again to go back 2026.

Hi we went here for a week in October the hotel and pool bar area are lovely. Right by pritvate beach even thou locals came on there. The rooms are a bit dated now. Food was very poor breakfast wasn't very good same thing ever day. Wasn't very good for vegetarians.food wasn't labelled very well. Only have certain drinks on all inclusive have to pay for a lot of them. Most of staff were friendly apart from couple of them were rude. Even tho it was an adult only hotel i think this was mostly for older generations here. No kettle in rooms which most hotel has which is a shame because you have to go in the lift to make yourself a drink and bring it back to your room . Was much entertainment

This hotel was rated as a 3+ star establishment by Jet2, and we reasonably expected a comfortable and safe environment to enjoy our holiday. Unfortunately, this was far from the experience we had. We arrived in the early hours and were allocated a room on the fourth floor. I usually request a lower floor due to accessibility and health reasons, particularly as both my wife and I are Deaf and experience balance issues. I cannot confirm whether the request was made at the time of booking, but regardless, we were extremely alarmed to find that the balcony balustrade in our room was dangerously low. This posed a significant health and safety risk – not just for us, but for any guest. The communication with the receptionist on our arrival was also very difficult. His communication was very brief, which limited our ability to resolve issues effectively only to say to come in the morning to see the manager. When I asked in the morning through a different receptionist to move to a lower floor due to the dangerous balcony, I was told to come back after breakfast to speak to the manager. However, when I returned, the manager was still unavailable, and I was told no alternative rooms were available – without any indication that they would try to accommodate us when one became free. The lack of concern or willingness to assist was deeply disappointing. In addition, the overall quality of the hotel itself was well below expectations. At breakfast, for example, the fruit on offer was artificial, which was misleading and unacceptable in a 3+ star rated hotel. The atmosphere was not very welcoming to say the least. Thankfully, when the Jet2 representative, Beste, arrived later that day, she was appalled by the lack of action and understanding we had experienced. After a lengthy discussion we decided to move out to a nearby Hotel. She arranged one a few minutes walk away to the Golden Rock Hotel, which was rated 4 stars but was significantly superior in every way – including safety standards. Although we had to pay an extra £600 for the upgrade, it was a necessary decision to salvage our holiday. For Beste, who even accompanied us during the move, found her the most helpful of Jet2 reps we ever came across which we will always be very grateful.
