Stunning hotel but needs better service for 5*

Drinks and coffees should be replenished everyday in the room for 5* room was only cleaned once. The people before us left crisp packets under the beds plug socket hung out of the wall. No robes all weekend. No welcome drink on arrival. Friend was gluten free and told she could eat the breaded chicken, when she told him to check he came back with the same salad but had just taken the chicken off it. Never any pale rose we asked for it there was never anything left. Always served drinks in a plastic cup. Pool side floors were never washed or cleaned the whole weekend... Always had spilled drinks food and bird poo and cigarettes ends from the day before, but the sun beds were washed down. The restaurants were amazing and the buffet food was also amazing. Waiter staff could of been better. But cleanliness overall wasn't 5* Food was fantastic

A wonderful stay but a few improvements needed.

We had an excellent stay. Lovely room, great food and good facilities. The only downside was the complete lack of service when trying to get served in the evening at the Lobby Bar. Shout out to Emiliano and Enzo for keeping the place running! There were not enough bar staff and people were waiting around 20 minutes for a drink. What slowed the pace down was the length of time it took to make cocktails! Might be a workaround to have a pre-made machine for cocktails on draught or a dedicated area of the bar for cocktail requests and another for a quick glass of wine or beer! Standing behind someone asking for 5 mojitos, made one at a time, when all you want is a glass of wine is painful! A few more smiles amongst the staff wouldn’t go amiss either. Overall a wonderful stay but hopefully feedback will be taken on board.

Beautiful Hotel with fabulous food.

So many positives but will also mention the not so positive few points. 4 of us stayed and would definitely return. Food was amazing every day. The atmosphere at the pool with the afternoon entertainment was great fun. Shame there was nothing at all on in the evening. Quality of the drinks was good but the bar shut at 6pm by the pool and everything closed by 11pm. Rooms were spacious and great storage. View of the sea from bed or balcony was fabulous. Location was ideal, easy to walk to every where with the advantage of being quite as not being in the town. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall a fantastic holiday and we all said we would return.

The hotel just lacked the polished finish that I would expect from a 5* hotel. Our arrival wasn't the same as others. We couldn't order the food from room service we wanted. Due to having a few food intolerances it was hard to eat all week, things weren't labelled, the chef didn't know if the ice cream was safe. The food I could eat was covered in flies or they flew out when I touched the tongs. My fiancé was unimpressed with the fact that the food was warm. Nobody likes a cold burger. Our room wasn't swept or hoovered, the pool could have been tidier. Glasses not collected until late morning left from the day before. Blood spots left to dry and not cleaned around the pool area. The balconies aren't private so next door can see into your room and you can hear them arguing. Or their cigarette smoke coming in. Taps didn't all work in the public toilets. And they weren't cleaned until later in the day. Glasses in our room not cleaned or replaced. Sadly it's a beautiful place and the majority of staff are friendly but it didn't hit the mark it should have.
