Lovely hotel, slightly remote. Its a 5 star hotel but I think 4 stars is a better valuation, very clean rooms, ours was without a private pool, the location is very quiet with minimal parking. The staff were all excellent and friendly. Most spoke English so don't get some of the negative reviews, elsewhere, about not speaking English. The hotel was very clean and the rooms nicely furnished and had a safe. There are three pools one on the main building where the reception is and shaded from the sea breeze with a bar area and pool side mattresses. The two other pools each on a different level overlooked the sea again both had bars also they both had pool side sun lounger mattresses. There is no beach to speak of but there are steps leading into the sea, where you can wade out at least 50 meters. The breakfasts were great , with a good mix of cooked food , cold food cereals coffee , tea, fresh omelette, fruit etc. The evening meals served between 1900-2200 hrs were excellent with a large choice of salads, hot and cold food , lovely deserts etc. The only let down to this hotel was the fact that there is no beach to lay on although there are plenty sun loungers on the sea side sitting area. This area can get a bit wet if it starts to get breezy as the waves splash onto the terrace area. If this happens you can move to the other pools. Zakynthos itself is approximately 30 mins away. Overall an excellent stay ,
