The hotel itself is lovely, and my sister and I had a room with a loft, which was great. The problem is getting to your room. Cars cannot drive all the way up, so call the hotel in advance and have them send someone to take your bags. Make sure you are clear on the pickup/drop off point. Our driver left us on the street at the end of the path up and told us to wait. The person from the hotel was waiting further up, where the car rental place is. So 20 minutes with us in different spots! Once your bags are taken, there are many steep steps…so be aware. There are lovely restaurants close to the Villas, on your way to the street.it is close to the town of Fira with lots of shops and restaurants, so the location was good. Breakfast was provided, but nothing to get excited about. Bathrooms are small, with no shelving for your stuff and no coffee in the room (ugh). Personally, I would stay in Oia, which is much prettier…but most likely more expensive. Fira did not impress me at all.
