Venice Krabi Villa Resort (SHA Extra Plus+)

Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing, even before I had the chance to stay there. I had a one-night booking, but due to the cancellation of my flight to Europe caused by the conflict in Iran (my transit route was through Dubai), I was forced to cancel my trip. As soon as I received the notification of the flight cancellation—only two days after making the reservation and five days before the check-in date—I contacted the hotel to explain the force majeure situation and kindly requested a refund. Although I provided all the details and reached out during a moment of genuine crisis, the hotel flatly refused any form of understanding or refund, citing their "strict policy." It is deeply regrettable to see that, in the face of major international events and unforeseen circumstances that completely disrupt travel plans, this hotel chooses to put the profit of a single unused night above the experience and the difficult situation of a client. I cannot recommend this hotel due to its total lack of flexibility and empathy toward its guests.

This hotel is a chill place where you can relax when you Come in Thaïland. I would recommend it because it is very complete, the bar and restaurant are qualitative and the staff is sooo kind with us. There are also activities that you can do with the animators like padel, thaï boxing etc. I personnaly did an hour of thaï boxing with the animator Kao, who was very joyful and I enjoyed this experience

We arrived at Venice Krabi for 3 nights recently and absolutely loved our stay. We had room 4111, a water Villa with jacuzzi. The views were stunning, so peaceful and our room was steps from the pool area. The room was beautiful, classic wood and a real rustic but modern feel. Smart TV, great bathroom, good air conditioning, and lovely helpful staff, they provide a cart to and from reception if you call which was great as after days walking non stop in Bangkok the prior to arriving our feet were tired, it's only about a 10 minute walk but in 33c heat it was nice to have the option of a cart. We had room service several times, quick service and hot, food so good, especially the mango sticky rice. The pool area was perfect, we always got a sunbed even in the afternoon, the temperature was perfect, water clean and views just amazing. We did get ambushed by monkeys one day who went through our bags and ran at us growling so beware of this, but it's to be expected in such a beautiful, wild location. We also seen monitor lizards from our room deck, all kinds of butterflies, fish and even bats, the area is a nature lovers dream. We did the nearby elephant sanctuary(Love Elephants) & can recommend, very ethical, they currently have 4 rescues and the owner was really funny but also very thorough about safety and what to do and don't, you get so close to the elephants(as long as they want to, nothing is forced). We went into Ao Nang a couple of times using the Grab app for a car, there is a big problem between tuk tuk drivers and Grab drivers so a lot of them can't or won't drop you off near the main areas in case there's any trouble, check this when booking, other than that, really handy and much cheaper than the taxis organised by the hotel. The jacuzzi in our villa didn't seem to work properly, the water only filled up less than halfway so it was impossible to submerge your body, so we couldn't use. We only had breakfast once but the selection was good, noodles, rice, soup, also omlelettes and meats, cheese, fruit etc. The resort doesn't sell alcohol but they don't mind you bringing your own to the pool etc, we used the 7-11 about 20 min walk away to stock up. We would definitely stay again, such a relaxed and beautiful resort.
